100% Fade or Full Fade

When considering the purchase of an AWP Fade, seed patterns hold paramount importance. They serve as the initial point of scrutiny, influencing the predominant factors such as the gun’s Fade percentage and resulting color distribution ratios, as well as its value. Especially in cases of extremely high Fade percentages like 99% (Fake Full Fade), and 100% (Full Fade), distinguishing differences through in-game inspection becomes nearly impossible.

At around the 95% Fade mark, the gun has all three colors of the pattern which are yellow, pink, and purple. At 100% Fade, purple is hardly visible and the gun is one-third yellow and two-thirds pink. This is the most valuable Fade pattern with seed 412 being the #1 pattern, followed closely by seed patterns 602, 359, and 649.

AWP Fade Float

Float values play a significant role in determining the overall value of the AWP. For those unfamiliar with the concept, Fade-finished weapons only have two exteriors: Factory New (0.00 - 0.07) and Minimal Wear (0.07 - 0.08). Considering that a considerable portion of values falls within the Factory New range, there’s a major likelihood of obtaining the gun in this condition if you were fortunate enough to get the AWP Fade from the collection. As the float value approaches 0.04, initial abrasions become visible at the start of the fore stock, getting considerably worse at higher float values and adversely influencing the AWP Fade’s market value, albeit slightly.
