Description
Target Ball blocks and bowls the competition in Rivals of Aether!

Y'know those big concrete balls outside of Target? Well now you can play as one! Target Ball is a heavyweight zoner focused around projectile play, using Bullseye and the Target logo to create remote stage hazards that can link into some of their strongest normals. Their quirky kit and overall lack of speed make them hard to pick up in a pinch, but with some time and dedication to their kit, they're a hard-hitting obstacle with a near unlimited supply of zoning options!

The main draw of Target Ball's kit is the variety of setplay synergies at your disposal! When combined, a lot of your normals and specials work together to create unique hazards for your opponent to work around, with most of them being tied to...

Target
Neutral/Forward Special make a floating Target symbol. Target Ball can rebound projectiles off of it, or even themself with Down Air and Dash Attack! It also extends your recovery by propelling you horizontally after using Up Special.

Bullseye
Target Ball's Bull Terrier buddy on Down Special has a bunch of unique synergies with their normals! Certain moves launch them in unique directions, with Down Air even working as a remote jump option. They also hold items in their mouth, and even push minecarts!

NOTE: Combine these two for a risky, but very active stage hazard!

Forward Tilt: Shopping Cart
Shopping Carts travel forward and carry the opponent with them for a short distance. This is an excellent combo projectile, but also very easy for the opponent to parry, putting Target Ball into parry stun.

Up Tilt: Guard Post
It seems pretty basic on the surface, but holding Attack keeps the post out as a projectile shield!

Down Tilt: Bottomless Bag
A bag that shoots out 3 different weak projectiles in a set order! Paintings travel up high, pillows travel low, potted plants are somewhere in between.

Dash Attack: Bollard Bowl
Like Up Tilt, you can hold this attack to keep it out for longer, but you can also jump-cancel the attack on hit! Think of this like a weaker Kragg Forward Special (it doesn't have armor and you can't turn around).

Neutral Special: Close Target
A quick blink that puts a Target right on top of Target Ball. Using Neutral Special while a Target is out will detonate it. This attack is quick and jump-cancellable, effectively making it a remote Shine!

Forward Special: Remote Target
Target Ball concentrates, then snaps to make a Target at a remote location! Holding Special stalls Target Ball's gravity. Up, Down, and Back can change the speed and position of where the Target spawns!

Up Special: Goodbye Goodbuy
A slow but simple multi-hit bounce with decent verticality. Using this into a Target carries it with you! (NOTE: Landing on a Target while in pratfall gives you a horizontal boost)

Down Special: Bullseye
Bullseye is Target Ball's pet companion and most versatile projectile option! Using Down Special while he's out turns him around, and hitting him makes him jump. If the opponent hits Bullseye or lands a Parry, Bullseye gets hurt, putting Down Special on a longer cooldown.

TAUNT
There's 4 of them. Can you find them all?

Here's some other Workshop items Target Ball has compatibility with:
- Mamizou
- The Knight (Reiga)
- Po & Gumbo
- Kirby (Spamite)
- Pokemon Stadium
- Miiverse

Huge thanks to...
Hasty, Taktaagic, and Nintenbro for helping playtest the character!
This tweet[x.com]for inspiring a LOT of the moveset
Alexalchemy, Beebus, and the Fraud Krew just cuz they're epic :D
Target for having a bunch of funny balls outside a parking lot become a meme and inspire a Rivals of Aether character somehow lol

QUICK NOTICE: PLEASE DO NOT REPORT ABOUT BUGS WITH THE ALT COLORS
I'm 100% certain it's a bug with the game itself and the newest character(s) installed on your Workshop, which makes it so newly installed characters don't display all of their alts and sometimes crash/freeze the game. In order to fix it, try unsubbing/resubbing to some other characters!
