How to START NEW GAME in Assassins Creed Unity

(works for v1.5.0 in 2024 april)

1) Open Ubisoft Connect launcher > Username > Settings > Uncheck 'Enable cloud save synchronization for supported games'

2) go to folder in windows where Ubisoft saved game data is stored:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<UNIQUE ID>\

3) make backup of your folders here (so you dont lose the old saved game files)

4) delete folder 857 (this is AC Unity in steam)

5) launch game to start a new game.

Done.
