100% Fade or Full Fade

Seed patterns are a critical component that should be inspected first thing when looking to purchase a Talon Knife Fade, as this will be the main determinant of the Fade percentage present on the blade, the ratio of colors, and ultimately, the market value of the knife. At higher Fade percentages, such as 98%, 99% (Fake Full Fade) and 100% (Full Fade), it’s almost impossible to tell the difference even when you inspecting the Knife in-game. Float values have a considerable impact on the overall value of the Talon Knife Fade. For the uninitiated, any weapon with the Fade finish only exists in two Exteriors, which are Factory New (0.00 - 0.07) and Minimal Wear (0.07 - 0.08). Since most float values in that range lie on the Factory New spectrum, there is a much higher chance to unbox a Talon Knife Fade skin in Factory New condition. From a float value of 0.05, the first scratches start to appear which generally become more apparent the higher the float value goes, negatively affecting the price of the Knife.

Talon Fade 80% - 100%

Talon Fade 80%

This is the worst Talon knife fade, it has around 40% pink and 60% purple, with 0% yellow.

This is the worst pattern for Talon Knife Fade and will thus also be the cheapest one. It’s pretty easy to find this pattern in low floats, with clean corners.

Talon Fade 83%

This is a slightly better pattern of Talon Fade. It has around 50% pink and 49% purple, and 1% yellow.

This is a Common tier pattern and will not impact the price of the skin at all. Finding one with clean corners with this pattern is not hard.

Talon Fade 86%

This pattern is around 60% pink, 35% purple, and 5% yellow.

This is still a common tier attern and will not impact the price. Finding one with a low float is still pretty easy.

Talon Fade 88%

This pattern has 65% pink, 28% purple, and 7% yellow.

It is a common tier pattern and will not impact the price of the skin. Low float ones are common and easy to attain.

Talon Fade 90%

This pattern is 70% pink, 20% purple, and 10% yellow. It is above 90% and the fade begins to look very good. Talon knives fade over 90% fade is very good play-skins.

This is a rare tier and could have a slight impact on the price, but not always. If you want it as a play-skin a low float one is a must, and should not be hard to find either.

Talon Fade 92%

In 92%, the purple begins to go away. It is 78% pink, 10% purple, and 12% yellow.

This is a rare tier pattern and will most often raise the price for the skin a bit. It begins to be harder to find low float ones, but still not that hard.

Talon Fade 93%

The Talon Knife 93% fade has 80% pink, 7% purple, and 13% yellow.

This pattern will raise the price of the skin a bit. It will be harder to find with a low float.

Talon Fade 95%

This pattern has 82% pink, 3% purple, and 15% yellow.

This begins the Epic tier of Talon Fades. This pattern will raise the price of the skin and finding one in low floats will be difficult. If you find one it will impact the price positively.

Talon Fade 97%

The 97% fade on Talon Knife is the last of the patterns with any purple on it. This is one of the large differences from the Karambit Fade that only has one pattern without any purple (100% fade).

This pattern has 82% pink, 1% purple, and 17% yellow.

A Talon Knife with this pattern will cost significantly more than a normal one. Finding one with a low float is rare and will increase the price.

Talon Fade 98%

The first pattern without any purple, it has 82% pink, 18% yellow, and 0% purple.

This pattern could also be called fake Full Fade. Due to how similar it is to 100% fade.

If you want a sick play-skin this is a good option. It is hard to find one in a low fade but still easier than any of the other fade patterns without any purple.

Talon Fade 99%

This pattern is also called fake Full Fade. It is 81% pink and 19% yellow, with again 0% purple.

This pattern is also called fake Full Fade, due to the similarities to the 100% fade.

If you are planning to trade a 99% fade, make sure it is this pattern by checking the pattern index.

Talon Fade 100%

This is the best pattern of Talon Knife Fade. It is 80% pink and 20% yellow. It is also called Full Fade, due to it being the max amount of fade possible.

If you want to trade a 100% fade, you need to make sure it is true 100% and not 99% or 98% fade.

The best way of checking is to inspect it and compare the pattern index to the table. If it is the same number as any of the numbers under 100% fade then you know it is a 100% fade.

100% will cost significantly more than a normal fade. If you also add a low float it will sell for a lot.

Talon Fade Float

Float is a very important thing to consider when talking about Talon Fade. Low floats one will go for a lot more on the rare patterns than normal float ones.

Talon are however a bit more complicated when it comes to price and floats than most knives. A low float makes sure there are fewer scratches on the knife than a normal float one.
