100% Fade or Full Fade
The Karambit Fade has many different patterns, and they have a huge impact on the look and the price of the knife. These patterns are unfortunately more complicated than the other fade knives.

The Karambit has two ways of naming each pattern.

First, we have the usual way of just checking the percentage of which fade the knife has, between 80% and 100%.

Karambit Fade 80% #754

Karambit Fade 99% #233

Then there is naming it after how much percentage of each color the blade has. This is done by writing #/#/# where the “number signs” are the percentages of each color the knife has.

The first one is pink, the second one is purple, the third one is yellow. For example, a 80/17/3 stand for 80% of the blade is pink, 17% is purple, and 3% is yellow.

The thing is that an 80/17/3 Karambit Fade could also be a 91% fade or 92% fade. And even tho the 92% fade is slightly better than the 91% fade are they still both categorized as 80/17/3

Karambit Fade 80% - 100%
Karambit Fade 80% 81% 82%

This is the worst Karambit Fade pattern, with 30% pink and 70% purple, and 0% yellow. This knife pattern could be called either 30/70 or 80% to 82% fade.
The 30/70 Karambit is the cheapest of the karambit and a very good first high tier knife. It is also pretty easy to find in low floats with barely any scratches. It does however lack any yellow color on the blade. But makes up for it by having a more purple instead.

Karambit Fade 83% 84%

This is the second-worst karambit pattern. It is 40% purple and 60% pink, and 0% yellow. The knife patterns are either called 40/60 or 83% to 84% fade.
The 40/60 Karambit is nearly identical to the 30/70, only a bit pinker. It is also more expensive than 30/70. The 40/60 is also easy to find in low floats with clean corners.

Karambit Fade 85% 86%

The 60/40 is the cheapest Karambit with more than 50% pink on the blade, with 60% purple and 40% pink. It is still a very common pattern but is a bit more expensive than 40/60 and 30/70. This Karambit fade pattern can also be called 85% or 86% fade.
The 60/40 is also common in low floats with clean corners, something that adds a lot to the look of a Karambit. It is the second last Karambit pattern without any yellow.

Karambit Fade 87% 88% 89%

The Karambit 70/30 is the last pattern without any yellow on the blade. With 70% pink and 30% purple. This is the last pattern in the common tier and also the last of the 80% fade pattern. The 70/30 is between 87% and 89% fade.
The pattern is also common in low floats, and finding a knife with this pattern with clean corners is not hard. It is however the most expensive common tier fade patterns.

Karambit Fade 90%

This is the first pattern with yellow on the blade. With 70% pink, 29% purple, and 1% yellow. This is the entry-level for Karambits with yellow on them. The 70/29/1 is also called a 90% fade.
Due to the yellow this is the first of the rare tier Karambit fades. This is also what makes it easy to trade, due to it being the cheapest Karambit with yellow.

Karambit Fade 91% 92%

The 80/17/3 is the second pattern with yellow. It is 80% pink, 17% purple and 3% yellow. It is here the Karambit fades begin to look seriously good. With a bit more yellow and less purple you really see why the knife is so popular.
The 80/17/3 is also called 91% or 92% fade. It is very similar to the 90/7/3, only having a bit more purple but the same amount of yellow.

Karambit Fade 93%

The 90/7/3 is 90% pink, 7% purple, and 3% yellow, it is here the purple begins to disappear. This pattern is still somewhat normal to find in low floats with clean corners.

Karambit Fade 94% 95%

This pattern is either called 90/5/5 or 94% fade or 95% fade. It is 90% pink, 5% purple, and 5% yellow. It is more uncommon and is thus more expensive. Furthermore, it is also harder to find a good float with clean corners.
This pattern marks the first epic pattern of Karambit fade. Knives with the 90/5/5 are very easy to trade and are in high demand.

Karambit Fade 96% 97%

This is the first knife pattern with more yellow than purple. Being 90% pink, 3% purple, and 7% yellow. This pattern can also be called a 96% fade or 97% fade. It is hard to find in low floats with clean corners. If you do, the price is raised substantially.
When trading with this knife, you must be careful. People often claim it is a fake Full Fade (a Fake 90/10). So beware when trading it.

Fake Karambit Fade 98% 99%

This is a very important skin to be aware of when trading high-tier Karambits. Many will claim that it is a True 90/10, but the knife will be a fake one. Fake 90/10 will have a little bit purple on them.

These knife patterns can also be called 99% in some cases and 98% in other cases. Some people use the term fake Full Fade as well.

Karambit Fade Float
Float is a very important thing to consider when talking about Karambit Fade. Low floats one will go for a lot more on the rare patterns than normal float ones.

Karambits are however a bit more complicated when it comes to price and floats than most knives. A low float makes sure there are fewer scratches on the knife than a normal float one. But it is more important where the scratches are rather than how many there are.
Karambit Fade float 0.003
Karambit Fade float 0.06

If the scratches are in the corners, they will be very visible. But if they are not they will not be. So in some cases, lower floats Karambits may look worse than higher floats ones.

This is why it’s very important to both consider the actual float and the corners when you are assessing the Karambit fade worth.
