The Boss
The Nameless King is not your typical tough boss. He's known for his aggressiveness and the cool storm drake he rides around on. Facing him is like getting an invite to the most exclusive party in Archdragon Peak, only to find out it's a battle to the death, probably many. Prepare yourself, for engaging the Nameless King is the ultimate test of skill, determination, and resilience in the world of Dark Souls.
Phase 1
In this initial phase, you're up against the King of the Storm, a mighty drake that the Nameless King commands. Here's how you deal with this towering beast:

Aim High: Focus your attacks on the drake's head. It's the weak spot, and dealing enough damage here can stagger the beast, allowing for critical hits.

Watch the Fire: The drake will occasionally breathe fire, either straight forward or in a sweeping motion. Keep an eye out for the telltale signs and be ready to move. With good timing you are able to dodge roll through the flames as they pass.

Stormy Skies: The Nameless King will attack from atop his mount with lightning and spear thrusts. Again, learn and time your dodges to avoid these.
Phase 2
With the King of the Storm defeated, the true challenge begins as the Nameless King himself steps into the arena, now mad that you killed his pet. This phase demands patience and a real understanding of his attacks.

Maintain Optimal Distance: Keep a medium range between you and the Nameless King. This positioning allows you to react to his spear thrusts and swings while being close enough to counter.

Circle and Predict: Circling around him can help you avoid some of his linear attacks. Be ready to roll through his swings and thrusts, especially those with longer windups.

Lightning Strike: When he charges his spear with lightning, be ready to dodge as he thrusts it into the ground, sending out an AoE shockwave. Timing your roll through this attack is crucial.

Spear Combos: He will often unleash a series of spear attacks, yeah he's mad now. After dodging these, you'll find a brief moment to counter. Limit your counters to 1-2 hits before backing off.

Diving Attacks: Watch for when he takes to the air. Run or roll towards him at the last second to avoid the attack, then close in for a few quick strikes.
Gear
Armour: Choose something with good lightning resistance. Fashion souls are important, but so is not getting electrocuted.

Weapon: Please upgrade your weapon as high as you can... anything will do but I recommend weapons like straight swords and halberds (Dex weapons will work too if you MUST). Lightning-infused weapons are not recommended because of the Nameless King's lightning resistance

Shield: This is my guide, people may recommend shields with high lightning resistance, but we always use the Grass Crest Shield for that sweet stamina boost. No arguing, that's what you're using now.
The Strategy
Respect the Reach: The Nameless King has an extensive reach with his spear. Maintain a medium distance, close enough to rush in after an attack but far enough to dodge his thrusts and swings.

Electrical Avoidance: His lightning attacks, both direct and area of effect, are telegraphed but deadly. Learn the timing to dodge these.

Punish the Recovery: After his attacks, there's a brief moment where the Nameless King recovers. That's your window to strike. Hit 1-2 times, then back off.

The Windup: Many of his attacks have a significant windup. Recognise these to prepare your dodge and counter.
Conclusion
Well well well, look whose ready to beat The Nameless King! (maybe you did already, I know you did look at you go :D). It's about patience, observation, and timely aggression. You'll earn not just souls but the satisfaction of overcoming one of Dark Souls 3's most mean bosses. Now, claim your reward and walk the path of the true champion of Ash. And remember, this is my guide so after beating the boss, you'll find Orenstein's armour set, equip the lot, it's your new fashion.
