Spy Chameleon all Achievements and Walkthrough (Hard Mode)

A video walkthrough of Spy Chameleon for all ladybug + time challenges with achievements listed out and explained.

Overview

This game’s 75 levels are divided up into 5 missions. Each level has 3 corresponding challenges: collect all flies, collect all ladybugs (unlocks after first play through), and finish the level under a given time. Levels can be replayed at any time to unlock a particular challenge or to get a faster time.

This guide has a separate section for each mission with a video for the ladybug and time challenges. It also lists out any achievements in order they can be unlocked. I did not include the fly challenges as it is fairly straight forward and mostly redundant given the other two videos. All videos are done in the original (Hard) mode only.

Differences between the original mode (Hard) and new easy (Normal) mode:

• Some achievements, indicated within the description, can only be unlocked in Hard mode

Mission 1 (Levels 1-15)

Ladybug Challenges

Achievements

	A few flies Complete flies challenges in 1 level.
	First steps Complete 5 levels. Story related. You can't miss that.
	Speed freak Complete time challenges in 5 levels.
	No changes I Complete level 10 without changing color. Accomplished by knocking over the green paint can in the bottom left corner.
	Paparazzi Complete level 15. Story related. You can't miss that.
	Some flies Complete flies challenges in 15 levels.
	A few ladybugs Complete ladybugs challenges in 15 levels.
	Perfect photoshoot Complete all mission 1 levels and challenges.

Mission 2 (Levels 16-30)

Ladybug Challenges

Level Index: 16=0, 17=11, 18=33, 19=48, 20=1:08, 21=1:39, 22=2:12, 23=2:26, 24=2:48, 25=3:07, 26=3:46, 27=4:31, 28=5:08, 29=6:05, 30=6:23

Time Challenges

Achievements

	Fish Disturber Disturb the same fish 25 times. A good level for this is 23, which has a fish bowl at the start and almost nothing around it. Just keep knocking the bowl while circling around it.
	Fast recollector Complete level 24 picking all the ladybugs under 17.5 seconds. Possibly the hardest challenge with little room for error. See the ladybug video for a path that worked for me- beat it in 17.05s.
	Need for speed Complete time challenges in 25 levels.
	The robbery Complete level 30. Story related. You can't miss that.
	Lot of flies! Complete flies challenges in 30 levels.
	Perfect robbery Complete all mission 2 levels and challenges.

Mission 3 (Levels 31-45)

Ladybug Challenges

	Dont touch my Circulo Rojo Complete level 41 without using the button. Can be done with proper timing. If stuck, refer to the ladybug video.
	Plagiarism Complete level 45. Story related. You can't miss that.
	Some ladybugs Complete ladybugs challenges in 45 levels.
	Perfect formula Complete all mission 3 levels and challenges.

Mission 4 (Levels 46-60)

Ladybug Challenges

Achievements

	No changes II Complete level 50 without changing color. See the ladybug video for a path that worked for me. It has to be timed perfectly, which I could not do in one play through. The checkpoints definitely keep this from being a near impossible task.
	FTL Complete time challenges in 50 levels.
	Dangerous mutation Complete level 60. Story related. You can't miss that.
	Perfect discovery Complete all mission 4 levels and challenges.

Mission 5 (Levels 61-75)

Ladybug Challenges

Achievements

	Vegetarian Complete level 63 without eating any fly. This is referring to fly enemies. Use the paint cans to avoid their vision.
	Caloric balance Get a positive caloric balance. Happens after eating around 50 fly patrol agents. I got it right after finishing level 67's ladybug challenge and had already finished the fly and ladybug challenges for previous levels as well.
	Firewall Complete level 75. Story related. You can't miss that.
	Perfect betatesting Complete all mission 5 levels and challenges.
	RGB Agent Complete all levels and challenges.
	Speedrunner Beat all levels in less than 18 minutes (only counts best time of each level). Should unlock after completing all time challenges.
	Lot of ladybugs! Complete ladybugs challenges in all levels.
	Chromazone Changed color a thousand times. This should unlock while attempting to complete all challenges.

Hello @Eviction Notice, it looks like Unfinished Pixel released an update for the game last year in february 17 that introduced the normal mode and more languages. However I haven't been able to find the complete changelog of the update, which would confirm the somke removal, and I do see speed differences between your runs and mine, but I could just be wrong.

@Metal: I hadn't noticed the white smoke before. It looks like there must have been an update to game where they removed that special effect. That's all it is since your character always runs.

Great guide, it's helped me a lot, however I've noticed you can run on your speedruns (white smoke coming out your feet) but when I try to do it either using keyboard (m/n keys) or gamepad (RT/LT triggers) nothing happens. Can you tell us how you did it?

For the "Speedrunner" achievement, you won't necessarily unlock it after completing all time challenges. I've completed them all but I've still got to trim 3 minutes off total. That really sucks because I don't know which levels I should mainly focus on.

Caloric balance is awarded when "Kcals gained" is above "Kcals burnt". "Kcals gained" = "Giant flies eaten" × 50.
Right after getting the achievement I had these stats at 5693 and 5700.
