Movement Speeds

Here, you'll see all the calculations I made for the speed of every operator, including slowdowns.

Speed in m/s.

I SPEED running: 4.25 m/s

II SPEED running: 4.75 m/s

III SPEED running:5.00 m/s

Running with 5% speed bost (All semi-auto handguns and weapons with horizontal grip):

I SPEED running with 5% speed boost: 4.25 x 1.05 = 4.47 m/s

II SPEED running with 5% speed boost: 4.75 x 1.05 = 5.00 m/s

III SPEED running with 5% speed boost:5.00 x 1.05 = 5.25 m/s

III SPEED walking with %5 boost: 3.25m/s

III SPEED walking without %5 boost: 3.10m/s

II SPEED walking with %5 boost: 3.15m/s

II SPEED walking without %5 boost: 3.00m/s

I SPEED walking with %5 boost: 3.00m/s

I SPEED walking without %5 boost: 2.85m/s

Running with LMG:

I SPEED: 4.25 x 0.90 = 3.83 m/s

II SPEED: 4.75 x 0.90 = 4.28 m/s

III SPEED:5.00 x 0.90 = 4.50 m/s

Running with LMG + horizontal grip (5% boost - 10% slowdown):

I SPEED: 4.25 x 0.95 = 4.04 m/s

III SPEED: 4.75 x 0.95 = 4.51 m/s

III SPEED:5.00 x 0.95 = 4.75 m/s

Montagne and Fuze (I Speed, Fuze obviously carries a shield and there's no difference in speed in having your shield on your back while running):

Running = 3.75 m/s.

Walking while extending the shield (Montagne) = 2.5 m/s.

Blitz running (II Speed) : 4.25 m/s (same speed as a I Speed running without the 5% boost e.g. Rook running with P90).

And that's all I calculated, I hope this opens many players eyes to see if it's worth it to use a pistol/horizontal grip or LMG's. I made this because there was only 1 site that gave me outdated info.

I tested it, since I thought the same as you as well. It is a shame, since it would make the game a lot more fun since you could still benefit from increased speed.

nope. it's an UI bug. using guns that are not handguns or do not have horizontal grip do NOT make you 5% faster.

Does gun with no grip make a difference? Eg wamai Aug vs wamai mp5k with very grip
