Milwaukee Road Hiawatha Class A Atlanic

Descripción
In the mid 1930's, The Milwaukee Road contracted The American Locomotive Company - ALCO - to build four high speed, streamlined steam locomotives to pull passenger trains on their brand new high speed line between Chicago, Milwaukee, and the Twin cities of Minnesota.
The resulting design was the Class A, a 4-4-2 Atlantic with enormous 7 foot drivers to propel it a record speed of 115mph, with rumors of speeds as high as 125mph, which would make it one of the fastest steam locomotives in the world at the time. Regardless of whether it truly had the fastest top speed, they definitely had the fastest scheduled speed at the time, regularly running 110mph trains.
They were also among the first locomotives to be built with their completely streamlined casing, a beautiful Art Deco design drawn up by famed industrial designer Otto Kuhler, who also designed the new Orange and Maroon livery of the Hiawatha trains. The Class A's ran in continued service up until their retirement in 1951.

This Brick rigs model of the famous locomotive class was built over the past month with real recreated blueprints, though unfortunately since the entire class was scrapped in the 50s there is alot of specific details that I could not find any information on, so had to create on my own from other similar locomotives of the time, specifically with the cab interior.

This locomotive is 3,000 bricks, and features:
-Accurate Scale dimensions
-Full running gear
-Hollow Boxpok Drivers
-Cab interior
-Steam effects
-Truck detail
-& more
-Controls are just as any of my other trains, W/S accumulated throttle, & Fire1 for brakes.
