[B41/B42] Compost From Vegetation

Описание
[B42] Allows more items to rot and turn into compost. Items include grass cuttings, twigs, scrap wood and wood splinters. Recipes have been added that allow most wooden items to be recycled into wood splinters, which will rot and can be used for compost.

[B41] Removing grass yields vegetation which can rot and be used for compost, along with twigs and scrap wood. The harvesting of vegetation from grass does not work in multiplayer but the twigs and scrap wood will still be able to rot if that is something you want to include in your server.

All the new compostable items take 14 days to rot and and another 7 to turn into compost.

Can you make it so manure can be used for compost as well. Also irl they add dirt into composts detrivore type insects (worms, springtails, potato bugs/roly polies) to do the actual composting.

Yeah sorry I'm not sure what causes that, it doesn't have much effect on the game though you can still use twigs as normal so I didn't make it a high priority to fix it.

Having trouble with the mod - All plants removed including trees are no longer giving fresh twigs they are always rotten. Im 3 months in.

I'm always sawing hundreds of logs and the thought came to me why is there no sawdust. If it would be possible to make sawdust a compost-able by product of plank manufacture that would be amazing. Cool mod by the way, thank you.

Does rotten grass now mean I'll lose food at some point over winter to decay? If so, is this the mod or vanilla? Thanks!

Yes ! Thank You !

Oh yeah good idea, I forgot about those. Maybe other wood items like branches could be recycled into wood splinters through a crafting recipe which can then be composted
CocoBat 23 янв в 6:22
Hm, understandable, I guess splintered wood would be one then

I want to avoid making too many items decayable, as it might become annoying to deal with. I chose twigs and scrap wood in the first place because they are just junk items without much use. I'll look into dung though! It should realistically be able to be used as fertiliser just by itself.

In real life dung can be transformed into compost. Is there a way to make that happen?
