General Information

The PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 is set to make history as the first CS2 Major Cchampionship to be held. In December, hundreds of teams from around the world began their long journey to the first Counter-Strike 2 Major. Fighting through open, closed, and regional qualifiers, now only 24 remain.

The Major will once again boast a $1,250,000 prize pool, continuing the trend that was first introduced at the IEM Rio Major in November 2022. The winning team will earn the lion’s share of the pot, taking home $500,000 for their title-winning effort. The runners-up will be awarded $170,000, with those finishing in 3-4th place earning just $70,000 of the winnings.

To supplement this, the Major is expected to once again feature in-game sticker sales, which will go live just before the start of the tournament and provide financial compensation to both players and organisations that qualify for the event.

When?
The PGL Major Copenhagen will take place between March 17th - March 31st, 2024.

Where?
The PGL Major Copenhagen playoffs will be held in the Royal Arena, one of the world's most modern and prestigious indoor arenas, which is situated in the capital city of Denmark, Copenhagen.

Who is the organizer?
PGL, a romanian based organisation, is the organizer, holding a track record of hosting successful esports events. The PGL Major Stockholm in 2021 was the most-watched CS:GO tournament of all time, while the recent PGL CS:GO Major Antwerp 2022 was the largest indoor esports event ever, attracting more than 20,000 fans to Antwerp's Sportpaleis.

"One of the greatest games of all time is marching to another chapter, and we couldn't be happier to host probably the most important Major of the franchise in recent years. Denmark has a rich esports heritage, and we are excited to bring the world's best Counter-Strike teams to Copenhagen to compete for the game's most prestigious title. Our ambition for PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 is to break the game's all-time viewership records." - Silviu Stroie, PGL CEO

Viewer pass holders can earn up to three Souvenir Tokens and each token can be redeemed for a souvenir from the match of your choice.
If you want more, you can purchase the Viewer Pass +3 to start off with three Souvenir Tokens, or purchase as many Souvenir Tokens as you'd like once you've activated your Pass. Additional Souvenir Tokens are available for purchase throughout the event.
Event Coin
This Major is no exception and you get a new (but old) bronze coin for activating the Major Pass, that you can upgrade it to diamond by playing the Copenhagen Pick'Em Challenge. The coin is sadly just the same as the last couple of majors, with a few minor differences.

Every time you upgrade your coin you will earn a Souvenir Token that can be redeemed for a Souvenir Package from the match of your choice. Your coin will upgrade when you've completed three (Silver), six (Gold), or all nine (Diamond) challenges.
Stickers & Sticker Capsules
Due to a problem with players signatures, the release of the stickers and sticker capsules has been delayed by Valve. More information soon.

Finally, after the Opening Stage is finished, we recieved the stickers. We have 3 capsules: Legends, Challengers and Contenders, even if the stages have different names. The prices is the same: 0.95€ in Europe.

As usual, we have 4 finishes available: paper, glitter, holo and gold. But this time it seems like the stickers are designed to be stacked on each other. You can combine the glitter and holo effect. Check it out!

1. Pick'em Opening Stage Predictions

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3184323941

3-0 Picks: C9 and Eternal Fire (going back and forward between EF and ENCE)
0-3 Picks: KOI and Legacy (might as well put Lynn Vision or Pain)
3-1 and 3-2 Picks: Furia, Heroic, ENCE (or EF), Apeks, SAW and MongolZ (or Imperial might be good as well)

Note that you need to choose the teams that you REALLY think will go 3-0 because the "safe option" from the last majors is not available anymore.

I chose these 6 teams that will go into the next stage based on HLTV ranking and the recent performance, having in mind a SAFE choice that will give me the best chances to get 5 points in order to upgrade the coin.

2. Pick'em Elimination Stage Predictions

2. Added a couple of photos from the major Royal Arena from myself.
3. 75% sticker sales will be a thing, but I think in like a month or so.

I hope Vita will raise up its game and Zywoo won't be sick anymore <3 I see Mouz winning the major, hard between Mouz and Spirit; this major is really nice and a bit surprising. I'm so glad that EF went through Elimination stage.

I don't think there is an official to see it. I think Pimp did a survey on his followers and less than 8% had Gold Medals and a chance for Diamond.
Not so Jui$y Storm 25 mart. 2024 la 18:03
is there a way to see the percentage compared to the community members for coins cause I have 12 friends who bought the pass and i am the only gold after stage 2
