This is a tutorial to revoking activation limit in Dark Void Zero.

How to revoke activation limit.

Hey!

As you may know, Dark Void™ Zero have a limit activation because of another DRM called SecuROM. What does that mean? You can activate game up to 5 times on your computer. That's sucks, doesn't it? Some dev on forums posted that they raised activation limit up to 20 times, but does it change anything? Nope.
That's where I found a TommyGoogle's post about how you can revoke this activation limit.

How does it work?

Go to your library and press right mouse button on Dark Void™ Zero. Then go to Properties > Set launch options. Add there "/revoke" and press OK. Launch the game. If you have done everything right, you should see something like this:



Got it? Press "Revoke activation online" and it's done. You can now uninstall your game without losing any of your activation limits.

I hope this little tutorial helped you a bit. Want to say thanks? Say it to TommyGoogle. Without his post I would have no idea about this revoking stuff. So why I made a guide? I think the chance of people seeing this guide is much bigger than just a post on game forums.

It's not nice to have another DRM on a game that's already have one. I hope one day we will be able to just install many of our games from Steam without worrying about another's part DRMs. Steam alone is enough.

Does this revoke the activation limit, or just the actual license you just activated when starting the game with the serial key? Because i don't want to revoke it and then being unable to activate the key down the line when the key activation servers go off-line...

Does this also work for the main Dark Void game, since it uses the same DRM?
