Features

- Adds 9 sailing ships in three different tiers. Junk, Cog and Longship for Tier 0 (no research, no ship parts). Caravel, Pirate caravel and Sloop for Tier 1 (research plus ship parts needed). Frigate, Galleon and Brig for Tier 2 (secondary research plus morer advanced ship parts needed).
- 4 new ship parts
- 2 new wood-like patterns for your vehicles

Q: Can I add it mid-playthrough to an existing save? Can I remove the mod?
A: You can add it whenever. You can't remove mods from a save and expect it not no be messed up.

Q: I don’t like certain things, can I remove them?
A: The Vehicle Framework includes mod options to tweak most things

Q: Does this need Biotech DLC, Alpha Animals / Biomes / etc
A: No

Q: Does this need Vanilla Vehicles Expanded?
A: No

Q: Is it compatible with another mod that adds vehicles?
A: It should

My only complaint about this mod is that the Junk is tier 0, when they were vastly superior than cogs in many technologies. Not really a major complaint, but love the concept of the mod and would love better and larger junks being available (as well as the huge treasure ships!)

Could you add Medieval Overhaul compatibility? sailing instruments require components but the medieval overhaul mod only allows construction of basic components.

also do you plan on making raiders or just other npcs in general use these ships? would be cool to have coastal settlements have their own ships that you can steal

why so little crew? especially cog only having 1 when you need like 10 at least to cycle between operations

fantastic mod

i went a bit bridge crazy on my river. has anyone figured out a way to both have bridges and let the boats pass through the bridges?

Is this working in 1.6? I can't generate maps when traveling by ship and get an error report
