Tank Kong Jump

Description
"Have you ever thought about what if tank also jumps instead of just running slowly when chasing you? No, not a normal bhop jump, but a (king) kong jump instead..."

Some people may have ever seen tanks doing bunny hops (bhop) whether if they're just tank bots or tank players. If you think that this is the same, then no. To imagine it, you can imagine a real hulk jumping to chase you (everybody knows how far a real hulk jumps). To put it simply, the tank here also uses "Air Dash" (similar to"Melee Dash" on my "Melee Frenzy" mod) to dash forward when jumping. To put it simply, it's a much simpler mod, but with different jumping mechanisms on tank.

Both tank bots & tank players can do this, but they have different mechanisms, like:
  • For tank players, they need to press "E + JUMP", & their feet must land on the ground first.
  • for tank bots, the jump interval is controlled by a feature "Tank Kong Jump Interval" in the cfg file, & it's triggered anytime tank takes damage (so, tank won't jump if he doesn't take damage)

There are only 2 features in the "tank kong jump.txt" cfg file:
  1. Tank Kong Jump Interval: This controls how often tank jumps in seconds. Min value= 1 (1 second delay per jump. Setting it to 0 is same as 1). Max value= unlimited.

  2. Jump Distance Multiplier: This will multiply the kong jump distance based on the value. Max value is 5 (max value 5= tank will jump very high to the sky, either it may become a joke that will make you laugh hard or a disaster)

With this, you can get an alternative where tank's jumps can become scarier than normal bunny hops.

Notes:
  • A video preview will be added later.
  • Some tricks to evade tank's kong jump is included on the video preview.
  • This mod should be able to work with tank bhop mod, but it will make tank even scarier.
  • You can use this mod together with "Super Tanks" mod too..., if you're ready for more pain & tortures from tanks with special abilities + kong jumps.

@RedBigEvilDevil , I fixed the bug on the "Tank Kong Jump Interval" on the new update I recently released. & I added a new feature "Jump Distance Multiplier", & this might make tank able to do a kong jump even on a slope, depending on the value set.

@RedBigEvilDevil , I'll try to check the jump timer soon. Normally the jump timer should be reset to 0 on each jump after certain seconds set on the jump value.

and for some other reason it is impossible to set the jump value to more than 1 second, even after the value = 10 the tank continues to jump every second after receiving damage.

Nice!) The only problem is when the tank runs down on a relief slope - tank bot cannot use Kong's jump, for example at the end of the first Dark Carnival map where the survivors need to climb a steep slope. In other cases the mod works fine, recommend this mod for improve variety of gameplay.

It can be still useful because they can use their explosive goo to alert the commons.

@Xeno :] , it's possible. But will it be useful for boomer? Boomer is the easiest to die, so boomer will die just before doing the kong jump

@ Xeno :] , well, I don't know which one is better, as both are challenging in each own ways. & depending on the value set on "Tank Kong Jump Interval", this can become easier or harder than bhop tank.
