[Mod by Bagas/Coll1, I (Maal) simply uploaded it to the workshop in his stead]

Description

A new Collection of low tier tomes each focusing in a aspect of warfare that felt lacking in the base game.

All of the tomes contain Special Enchantments that add new actives to all base class units, since it's my believe that more skills and decisions in the tactical map are always more fun, this newest update add the badly needed T1 Magelock Tome, the tome of Ingenuity.

With the addition of this tome now any of your favorite cultures can have some real firepower in their hands.

The Mod includes:

The Tome of the Imperial Mantle - Focusing on Shield and Fighter Units, use several new spells to control the battlefield and create a unstopable advancing infantry, complete with a new enchantment to add Ranged Javelins to most melee units and the ability to protect adjacent allies from ranged attacks.

The Tome of Freedom - Focusing on Scouts and Cavalry Units, kick-start your nomad horde with a upgraded and flexible scout, a new ranged cavalry that can buff all other cavalry in it's stack, and an enchantment that gives a special charge to all cavalry in the game.

The Tome of Ingenuity - Focusing on Ranged units and Guns!, the tome will include a new evolving T2 Magelock that will be a force to be reckoned with into the late game, as well as a new active to all ranged units.

Tome of the Crusader - Focusing on Support units, the tome includes a modified "Master Skirmisher" for support units, allowing them to weave attacks between their support abilities, as well as a frontline unit that deals zeal damage and several others offensive supportive skills.

Tome of Servitude - Focusing on War and Resources, fundamentally define your Empire from the get-go by unlocking the highly unethical "Slaves Resource", crack your Whip of Command to ensure they acknowledge your supremacy while exploiting their uses for warfare and economical gain.

Tome of the Ruling Crown - Focusing on the Ruler and Absolute Authority, employ the might of Barons and Knights to construct an Empire aligned with your vision, invoke your Divine Right to empower those who carry your will.

For now, I plan on keeping an eye on balance, so any feedback is welcome. Please feel free to share it, but custom art and perhaps more tomes will come further down the line, thanks.

Tome of Discipline, Militant Culture seems to be bugged. It says there are no valid targets for the spell.

I just tested Reign of Terror and didn't crash. Steam is often fickle with mod update. Unsub/resub to force it to update.

@GrimoireODS
They do not interact with each others.

How does the tome of servitude play together with merciless slavers society trait?

I'll try to go poke him a bit.

Nope, still crashes as soon as you use Reign of terror.

Can anyone confirm if the crashes and missing Mystic T3 units were fixed?

He sent me an update for this mod, I assume it's to fix this crash.

Confirmed that the Reign of Terror from the Tome of the Ruling Crown results in a crash to desktop for me as well.
