Record Steam hours for TmInfinity

And how to do that.

Go

to your TMUF folder (usually located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TrackMania United), then create a file called "OpenTmInfinity.bat" (if you are on Windows and can't see file extensions, in File Explorer go to the top menu -> View -> Enable File Name Extensions).

Now edit the .bat file with this,

start "path" TmInfinity.exe   
PAUSE

and save.


Now go to your Library -> Right click on TMUF -> Properties -> paste this into the launch options

 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TrackMania United\OpenTmInfinity.bat" %command% 

And now whenever you open TMUF, it automatically goes to the .bat file, and while you are playing, keeps the file open so that it tracks your Steam hours.

If it doesn't work then check...
1) if the url you copied in to the launch options is actually correct (you can check it if you copy paste it into File Explorer,
2) if granting the .bat file administrator rights solves the problem,
3) if you even have TmInfinity correctly installed xdd

Indeed this trick can be used with any Steam game that doesn't correctly track hours.

you can redicted the url in the .bat file to the modloader, that might work

If there a way to do this with modloader with the competitive patch etc
