HOW TO FIX MATCHMAKING

THE GAME HAS BEEN UPDATED AND THIS NO LONGER WORKS

Matchmaking has been oficially enabled back in, however you will notice that it's much more unstable now compared to how it was before, 80% of rooms fail to join, I reccomend disabling crossplay.

Option 1 - Download via steam

how to Download it yourself via Steam:

Open Steam console: steam://nav/console

Run the following command: download_depot 553850 553853 6737583239230239718

Wait till download is completed (can take up one hour)

Go to your Steam installation / steamapps / content / app_553850 / depot_553853 / data / game

Copy game.dll file

Go to Helldivers 2 installation / data / gameReplace the game.dll there with the one you copied from depot download folder

Done !

Option 2 - Download from third party

Download the old game.dll
and put in this location > steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\data\game
