Description
Crusader No Remorse and Crusader No Regret (CNR) were isometric shooter games released in the mid 90s on MS Dos, PS1 and the Sega Saturn. Despite doing well financially, the series was left to languish and all that remains of its legacy is a dying fan website and its ageing population.

Until now.

CRUSADER revives the series with an original plot line specifically crafted for the Beyond the Horizon map competition. Putting the player in a faux-isometric perspective, he or she must control the fabled Silencer (or Captain) as he embarks upon a quest to prevent the world's tyrannical leadership from dabbling in sciences best left well enough alone.

Will you have what it takes to overcome the vast forces of the World Economic Consortium that are arrayed against you? Will you have the nerve to stand tall as the bullets fly and the grenades explode?

Ancient Warfare 3 is pushed to its technical limits in this rarely explored idea. There are many moving parts that make up the sum total of this map, some of which function very well, and others cough and splutter off the runway. Please report bugs as you find them, be the hero I need you to be.

Play time is 30 minutes, roughly.

If YOU would like to create your own Crusader project, using my system as a template, please let me know. I am working on making a template map that only has Echo Sector, so that it can easily be populated with mission areas.

Good job on getting first place!

@Raging Yeah that was actually a bitch to get working in the first place. Problem is, it gets placed flat on a foundation, but for a floor it gets put like halfway inside it. The only way to fix it is probably to make it thicker, or to raise it and create a seperate version. Problem with that is its a trial and error game, and that takes a lot of time and hassle. I'll add it to my to-do list though.

Can you also fix your modular chevron? I have been having problems with it on elevated modulars. It only works on the foundation.

Ah, maybe there's a small number of missing items seen in the CNR 1:1 project. They're on another machine that i currently do not have access to, but hopefully they're in my backup resource because I will need them myself. If so, I will upload them in time. If memory serves its the alarm beacon, the industrial wall with the holes, the battery and maybe the medikit.

What I meant was you were missing some CNR stuff in the collection? I can't find a shield battery nor an alarm lights.

@RagingUlf0222 Mate look at the collection this map is attached to! I upload EVERYTHING from CNR for you all to use :)

Hey, Mammoth. I wish you can post all of your CNR stuff like the crates, walls, alarm lights, etc. I hope you can make that happen.

Also just randomly, I am in the process of refining this map to industrial grade crack cocaine. Once that's done, I'm going to wipe the map of all terrain and scripts outside of the resistance base and upload it as a template so people can make their own stuff. Switching the Silencer over for another character and re-deccing the rebel base should be easy enough for anyone wanting a full conversion. Hoping to have it done by tomorrow but we'll see.
