Description
You have a task to do to Havana, Cuba, where it is now under an even worse dictatorship than Castro's following the Combine invasion. Pretty short though.


WARNING: I am an amateur GModder, since I have only very basic knowledge of Hammer and no knowledge at all on how to use VSIF2VCD, which means that this campaign port is by no means perfect and has some kinks here and there. This would affect your overall experience with it, but they shouldn't stop you from completing it. Any feedback is appreciated.

DISCLAIMER: This custom campaign port has only been tested in sandbox singleplayer, with the only mods being tested with this map are MMOD effects, MMOD HL2 weapon replacements, MWB/TFA/TacRP SWEPs, Combine soldier model replacements, VManip addons, and HUD addons. I'm sorry to say this, but I cannot guarantee the port's stability if you use more complex addons (such as the ones that alter NPC's AI) and/or play it in multiplayer.

ANOTHER DISCLAIMER: This custom HL2 campaign is not mine, as I laid out its original information in the lower part of this description. If the original author wants me to take it down, I'll do so.

This campaign consists of a single map, which is named as "lahabanalibre" and located in the "Other" category.


-----ORIGINAL CAMPAIGN INFORMATION----

In the heart of the Cuban capital, an unknown rebel sympathiser must disable three combine antennas to loosen their grip on the city. La Habana Libre is a singleplayer map based off Counter-Strike's cs_havana, originally created for LambdaGeneration's 'Back to the Roots' mapping competition, found here: Enjoy!

Huh, I didn't know someone ported my map. Neat. Maybe I will make a sandbox map out of it some time, people seem to want it

@ReddSnake I don’t think so. Also, I wish I have the mapping power of the professional to convert this campaign map into a sandbox map. Since I will be very busy with reality since my college is starting soon, I can’t guarantee the sandbox version to be coming soon, sorry.

I loved the setting. Not sure if there are more maps based in Cuba but they hit different... Seeing Combine tech on Latin American countries is such a vibe fr.

Would you be able to make a sandbox version of this map with nodes & navmesh without all the Combine stuff? Cause this map would look really cool and interesting as just Havana, Cuba.
