This modpack adds 60+ quality of life changes that will improve your experience with Risk of Rain 2. Additionally none of the mods included affect the core gameplay.

I created this modpack to improve the experience of Risk of Rain 2 WITHOUT affecting the balancing of the game. I love Risk of Rain and don't want to change anything super drastic when moding. I would also recommend this modpack to beginners, hopefully lessening the barrier to entry.

PLEASE NOTE!!
I did not create any of the mods in this pack, I simply compiled them into one place. All developers are credited and links to their thunderstore page are in the "Included Mods" section.

HOW TO INSTALL MODS (EASY)

Installing mods for Risk of Rain 2 is very easy, you can be all setup in just a few clicks!! Firstly you need to own Risk of Rain 2 and have it downloaded (Obviously).

Next you're going to download a program called R2MODMAN, this is the recommended mod manager for most/all Risk of Rain 2 mods.

You'll get a zip file, just unzip it and run the "r2modman Setup.exe" file.

How do I Import Modpacks?

When you first launch r2modman find your way to this page and click the "Import/Update" button.



From there click the "Import New Profile" button.



Then either click the "From File" or "From Code". I personally find the "From Code" method a lot easier but it's up to you.

The rest of the mods don't do anything, however they are required for the other mods to work.

This mod pack is basically obsolete now with the new update, I plan on creating another one but until then I don’t recommend using this pack.

I have taken the feedback left by some players to hopefully improve the quality of the modpack, if you see anything else that could be improved don't be afraid to leave and comment :)

also some cool mods i would like to see in this are:
DamageLog - shows what enemy hit you and how much damage they did
QuickRestart - adds restart button when pausing the game
WolfoQualityOfLife - adds icons to all chests so that radar scanner is actually good and some other visual stuff
BetterGameplay - items that fall off the map tp back on the ground and stop your equipment in the bazaar if you have gesture of the drowned
LookStraightDown - allows you to look straight up and down
ItemStats - better alternative for PingItemDescription cuz it shows full description of items on ping

@LJShiver i realized this too and its actually because of sharesuite for whatever reason so if you sstill wanna use this modpack delete sharesuite when you're not playing with friends!

a little warning to other new players: I'm not sure what causes it, but something in this pack prevents items from being logged in the logbook, which prevents item collection challenges ("the basics" and "experimentation") from completing. they unlock very useful items so you might want to play vanilla a little bit, first!

other than that, this is whole thing is a life saver; BetterUI and PingItemDescription are absolutely must-haves
