EMD G16 (Yugoslav Railways Livery)

Descripción
The EMD G16 was a diesel-electric locomotive made since 1958-72 by EMD (Electro-Motive Diesel), GM Diesel, Clyde Engineering and MACOSA (Stadler Rail Valencia). 426 were produced and they were used in Australia, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Egypt, Hong Kong, Israel and Yugoslavia (and its succesor states).
The locomotives were fitted with a V16 diesel engine and had a top speed of 124 km/h and relatively strong. Their weight was 108 tons. They're most attractive aspect was their cheapness and reliability. They were nicknamed "Kennedis" in Yugoslavia and "Tlaconetes" in Mexico.
They were classified as Class 319 (originally class 1900) under RENFE and JŽ series 661 under Yugoslav Railways and its succesors after the breakup of Yugoslavia.
There were a few variations, but the only difference was the running plate and the front intakes: some had them open, others covered and some simply didn't have them.
