In this guide I will talk briefly about Tarot cards.

Tarot cards

Tarot Cards - one of the sevencursed objectsin Phasmophobia. Capable of producing random effects such asplayer, and onghost.
There are 10 types of cards in total. Moreover, a deck may contain several cards of the same type, and some types may not exist at all.

Mechanics

Tarot cards appear at the selected location with a 1/7 chance. Each location has a specific place where they appear.

Each deck contains 10 randomly generated cards, each of which has a unique effect on either the player or the ghost. The player draws a random card from the deck. After use, the card disappears, shrouded in flames (each type in its own way).

The Sun

Combustion color:Yellow
Effect:Restores sanity to 100%.
Drop chance:5%

The moon

Combustion color:White
Effect:Reduces Sanity to 0%.
Drop chance:5%

The Tower

• Combustion color:Blue
  
• Effect:increases its activity for a while. Additionally doubles the ghost's activity for 20 sec.
  
• Drop chance:20%

The Wheel of Fortune

• Combustion color:Green (increasing sanity)
  Red (decrease in sanity)
  
• Effect:The player gains 25% of sanity if the card burns green, and if it burns red, he loses 25%.
  
• Drop chance:20%

The Devil

• Combustion color:Reddish pink
  
• Effect:Makes a ghost do a paranormal activity.
  
• Drop chance:10%

The High Preistess

• Combustion color:Light yellow
  
• Effect:Revives a random dead player at the location of his corpse. If there is no one to resurrect, the first dead player will be resurrected.
  
• Drop chance:2%

The Hanged Man

• Combustion color:No color
  
• Effect:Instantly kills the player who drew the card.
  
• Drop chance:1%

Death

• Combustion color:Violet
  
• Effect:Starts the damn hunt.
  
• Drop chance:10%

The Hermit (The Hermit)

• Combustion color:Turquoise
  
• Effect:Teleports the ghost to his room and keeps him there for 1 minute.
  
• Drop chance:10%

The Fool (Joker or Jester)

• Combustion color:Light purple
  
• Effect:At first it will be an ordinary card, but before it burns it will turn into a Joker, in a simple word - it turns into a blank.
  
• Drop chance:17%, or 100% during hunting

Add. Info about maps

Only one deck of Tarot cards will appear at the location, and once all ten are used, the player will not be given any more. When the deck is used up, all future hunts are also extended by 20 seconds, even if no card was drawn before.Death(Of death).

Tarot cards cannot be drawn outside the investigation area, although this can currently be circumvented by standing at the exit door, quickly entering, drawing the card and then exiting: the card will still work, but if the card was drawnDeath(Death) and if there are no players inside, then hunting from this map will not happen.

Please note that the cardThe Hanged Man(The Hanged Man) will act no matter where the player is, resulting in his death.

Adviсe

• The player should not use Tarot cards during the hunt, as they will always fall outThe Fool(Joker).
  
• Players must take a photo of the cards before using them, as a new deck will not appear.
