100% Perfect Schedule Guide

This comprehensive walkthrough ensures you're able to experience Persona 3 Reload to its fullest by finishing all Social Links & Link Episodes, completing all side quests (Elizabeth Requests & Missing Persons), and watching practically all voiced events (optional ones included) within a new playthrough. The time allotted to the player is very limited if you wish to see everything, so follow this guide closely to avoid being locked out of specific events; save often, and remember to utilize the Rewind feature if anything seems to diverge from the schedule.

Introduction & P3 Reload Changes

Persona 3 is a game that is near and dear to my heart. The original was the first Persona game to be released on the Playstation 2, introducing new mechanics and concepts that would come to define what the Persona series is today. A year later, an enhanced version was released called Persona 3 FES, with the biggest addition being "The Answer," an epilogue to "The Journey" (the main story). Two more years after FES, ATLUS would then develop Persona 3 Portable for the Playstation Portable; due to the console's technical limitations, the overworld traversal & cutscenes were cut in favor of a visual novel style, and "The Answer" from FES was excluded. In exchange, a playable female protagonist was added as a new way to experience Persona 3's story in a new light for returning players (P3P was also ported to all modern platforms in 2023).

Persona 3 Reload (including The Answer DLC) is a remake that focuses on enhancing the FES experience and bringing it up to modern Persona standards. This means the female protagonist's story from Portable is not included. However, that doesn't mean certain improvements made in that game have been discarded, as additions such as Missing Persons side quests are retained.

They’ve also introduced additional content which expands upon the casts' stories beyond what we've seen in past iterations of P3, with much more voice work across the board. One such big addition is Link Episodes, which are time-sensitive side stories that even get a dedicated section in this guide (They're technically called Linked Episodes because they're linked together, as in you have to watch them in the order they're made available to be able to continue future episodes; but I prefer to call them Link Episodes because of the term "Social Link," and because it's also called Link Episodes in Japanese).

Lastly, there is the new Rewind feature which allows players to rewind time up to 5 recent time-passing actions (amounts to roughly 2 in-game days outside of forced time-progressing events). This is helpful in correcting any recent mistakes such as forgetting to bring a matching Persona Arcana before spending time with a Social Link, or not rescuing a Missing Person before leaving Tartarus.

Social Stats

There are three social stats in Persona 3 Reload: Academics, Charm, and Courage.

Performing certain actions will allow the player to earn points for these stats and level them up. It's important that you work on them as soon as possible, as certain social links have social stat requirements for progression. In addition, maxing your Charm stat provides a Social Link point multiplier that stacks with having a matching Persona (1.51x).

In July, Tartarus also opens up the 91F Monad Passage, which rewards you with the Temperance Tarot. Acquiring this Major Arcana Card during Shuffle Time will provide an extra Social Stat boost to the next date you perform any activity that raises Social Stats (+1 if activity gives 1~4 points, +2 if activity gives 5 points), so take advantage of this if you need to level any Social Stats.

Each one starts at rank 1, and maxes out at rank 6. Here are their titles & point requirements.

Social Links Overview

Remember to carry a matching Persona Arcana when working on Social Links, as this provides a 1.51x multiplier to all Social Link Points earned during interactions. This guide will also mention what Persona Arcana you must carry before leaving Tartarus to make sure you're following through with the minimum requirements; anything not listed is not necessary, but it doesn't hurt to bring any additional ones to form a habit and avoid forgeting.

In addition, there are two other multipliers that can be earned for S. Link Points. These are maxing your Charm Social Stat (1.51x multiplier), and being the top scorer in your exams (1.51x multiplier for top scorer, and 1.21x multiplier for top ten). This guide will take full advantage of all three multipliers, so keeping your Social Stats on pace will be essential to not falling behind.

Side Quests (Elizabeth's Requests, Missing Persons, and Twinkling Fragments)

You're expected to reach the top floor and complete as many Tartarus-related side quests (Elizabeth's Requests & Missing Persons) as possible each time this schedule prompts you to explore Tartarus.

For any non-Tartarus-related requests, stop by the Velvet Room every now and then to complete them in a timely fashion. As a rule of thumb, her requests update soon after every Full Moon (she reminds you via a phone mail too).

Theurgy, Personality, and Combat Characteristic

Theurgies are special moves that ignore enemy resistances and are unique to each member of S.E.E.S. once they receive their new combat uniforms on June 13. Their trigger condition requires that the user's emotions need to be heightened to activate, which in-game just means their Theurgy Gauge must be filled before you can use them (luckily, the gauge carries over across battles and an therefore be saved for an opportune moment). In addition, each person has their own Personality that determines what action they should take in battle to boost their Theurgy Gauge fill rate.

Starting June 16, dorm hangout events are also made available to you, which allows spending time with members of S.E.E.S. to learn more about them. Each person has two types of events, and they provide various rewards: Social Stat points, HP & SP items, or enhancing the garden's crops. By progressing all 3 scenes per event type (cooking with Yukari, reading with Aigis, etc.), you will unlock/enhance their Combat Characteristics, which are passive abilities that further encourages the use of Theurgies by making their Personality more easily achieved.

Epilogue

It's an incredibly melancholic moment, returning to the title screen and seeing it change from the classroom during a full moon with S.E.E.S. silently waiting, into... the empty classroom on graduation day with our Protagonist's S.E.E.S. armband & evoker on the table, and "Because I Will Protect You -Reload-" playing in the background. The Journey is truly over.



For those that wish to consume more Persona 3 media, I have a number of suggestions (especially if you can understand Japanese).

Drama CDs

ATLUS actually released quite a number of Drama CDs for Persona 3, ranging from comedic everyday life events to much more serious and plot relevant side story expansions. Aside from Persona 3 Portable Drama CD Vol.1 which features the female protagonist, you can pretty much listen to the rest of these in whichever order you wish without spoiler concerns (the FeMC one just has new characters that would confuse you without their Social Link context). These will be listed in order of release (keep in mind some are connected stories which will be obvious based on their titles).

The Movies

Back in 2012, after Persona 4 The Animation finished airing, it was announced that the anime would be getting a movie compilation which would feature new cuts and an unaired "True End Episode" that was to be bundled with the final Blu-ray/DVD volume. It was at the end of this 90 minute movie that we got an announcement saying Persona 3 would be receiving a movie adaptation.
While not perfect by any means, and it does cut out pretty much all the Social Links to focus more on the core story, I personally think this is a worthwhile addition that builds upon my appreciation for Persona 3 as a whole. Not to mention, Movie #4 is absolutely incredible, with a number of its influences present in Reload.

The Expansion Pass

And of course, there's Episode Aigis -The Answer-. Released on September 10, 2024 as part of Persona 3 Reload's Expansion Pass DLC, it's the epilogue story to Persona 3. It will delve into how the members of S.E.E.S. handled the events of Persona 3 after March 5, and sets the stage for how Persona 3 connects to future entries in the Persona series.

All information found here & in my other P3R guides are based on my knowledge of past versions of Persona 3, as well as the countless hours I've spent testing since the game's release. There's a lot of conflicting information posted by various sites regarding this game's mechanics due to the existence of prior versions, but I'm confident that what I've posted here is accurate. Please credit this guide if you decide to post this information elsewhere, and if you notice any inconsistencies or have any questions, definitely let me know.

This schedule was created with player flexibility in mind. I tried to spread out Social Link and Link Episode conclusions (especially romanceable Social Links) such that players get some time to process them before the next Social Link / Link Episode conclusion is done, and I made sure every different social activity has been done at least once while also scattering the free time slots across the school year instead of clumping them in the final weeks of the story to make it feel like there's always something to do.

If anyone's looking for alternate schedules, I came across two guides on GameFAQs that might be of interest. There's the Walkthrough by marendarade[gamefaqs.gamespot.com] that takes the less scenic route for a couple more free daytime slots, or if you're looking for a more detailed day-to-day breakdown with combat-related suggestions such as Persona fusions, you can try this Walkthrough by TenSquare3[gamefaqs.gamespot.com] instead.
*Though both seem to lack some finer details such as pure platonic Social Link route or didn't include certain conditions with regards to the Secret Boss Battle, the schedules themselves appear solid.

You need the funds and Persona Arcana in order to jump start your Social Stat and Social Link progression. Fortunately, if you read the “Extra Note #2” on April 23, it says you can re-enter Tartarus on April 26 if necessary. Follow those instructions and make sure you leave this time with the necessary amount of money and Persona Arcana. And don’t forget to revisit the School Nurse the next day (April 27).

Hi! I just completed my second Tartarus run on April 23rd, but unfortunately, I didn't obtain enough Persona cards to fuse the Hermit and Hanged Man Personas. I had to spend most of my funds summoning ingredients for fusion and, after selling my loot, I'm left with only 10,000 yen. Do you have any advice on how to efficiently acquire these Arcana Personas under these constraints? Thanks!

You probably forgot to have a matching persona, or accidentally chose the wrong responsible during the Strength Rank 3 event. If you don’t want to load an old save, there should be some free time leeway later in the game for you to catch up as long as you don’t fall more than 2 ranks behind.

Hey, thanks for the guide! I'm having a bit of trouble though. The guide says to rank up Strength to level 4 on 5/30. But when I try to do this, my strength link remains at level 3. Any idea what's going on here?

Thanks for this guide, followed it while doing a real time run, and mostly did ok except for hiccups with Emperor and Hanged, didn't realise how important that first Tartarus excursion was. Able to rectify as the year went on though. Very helpful and thorough guide, and a great experience to follow along with the real life calendar.

Just a note that I used this guide to 100% the game in case anyone wondered, just remember even after you leave a dungeon that you should check your personas to make sure you have the right social link. A couple times I would do a heavy grind session and forget to re-equip the right ones and I had to go back. Amazing guide.
