BUILT FOR REFORGED EDEN!

The Ballista Mark 1 - A simple, compact, low-cost, 2 Man Crew Tank designed for long range Artillery support. Simillar to the Merkava in terms of its role, this design is aimed at people who are at the early stages of the game or on a budget.

It is made out of hardened steel to offer basic protection and to keep costs and weight down. It's 2 Man Cabin is fully sealed, protecting the crew from any outside hazards. The Gunner seat has access to the T1 Artillery Turret, while the Pilot gets 2 Manual Gatling Guns for basic offensive capabilities. You get a generous ammo box that ideally can hold 200 Shells and 8000 Rounds.

A Minigun Turret on the top provides defence from enemy infantry, allowing you to focus on destroying your target. There are also switches in the Menu for Spotlights, Turret Control and Eco Mode.

A drawback to this design is that due to the limitations I put on myself to try and make a cheap and compact tank for the early game start, the generators will overload if you are moving and charging the shield at the same time. To get around this, disable the weapon systems from the Menu if you are trying to escape.

I tried to squeeze every CPU point possible and I am pretty happy with the final design.

I recommend pairing this tank with my other design - The Cruiser. The Cruiser can provide basic detterance againts infantry and drones, while the Ballista focuses on targets.
