Two new characters are skriking their way into TBOI-world

Skrik

Can't aim, has homing tears

TSkrik

Can't aim, shoots multiple bone tears at once with random effects, and a Die that allows him to re-roll all of his on-screen tears


note: I worked on this heavily for months, got a little burnt out while a decent amount of progress away from a state I considered release-able. I just decided today to release what I had, and have done little testing to check what does and doesn't work. As far as I can assume, all items that have been completed should be unlockable and functioning.

Please leave feedback so I can get an idea of which areas need the most work.

Hello @eggviper3! Checked out the character a week ago and he's pretty fun! Psycholysis's Soul of Eden either doesn't happen at all or it does work but I just wasn't paying attention. The Dual Heart's Duality effect doesn't seem to work either. Those are the only 2 bugs I could find (or 1 if Psycholysis is actually fully functional). I hope you continue this mod with more content in future updates. I know this is from your other content mod, but would you like to give a proper EID description to Box of Crayons instead of its pickup quote? Also, here's what I was trying to reply to you with on the Pure Judas mod page: "Sup @eggviper3! If you're reading this comment/message from me, then I'm here to tell you that I'm glad to see that there are people out there who still remember and play as Armoniel. He's such an underrated modded character who totally needs more love and attention!"

Haven't set up the unlock for TSkrik yet. I recommend the Character Shenanigans mod to toggle him to be unlocked for now.

Will consider spectral tears, it would make sense.

Why tainted skrik dont unlock and room only have inner child item?

cool character! but i think they seriously need to start with spectral, as it is basically impossible to damage anything in certain room layouts because of obstacles. had a boss fight with larry jr. and was forced to use a black heart to kill him because it was the room layout with a grid of rocks
