Castle Cragmaw

Castle Cragmaw itself is a ruined fortress located not far from the town of Phandalin. The castle serves as the hideout for the goblin tribe known as the Cragmaw Tribe. The Cragmaw goblins are notorious for their disruptive activities in the region, including ambushing travelers and causing general mayhem.

Entrance Hall:

The main entrance to the castle, often guarded by goblins.

Barracks:

Living quarters for the goblin inhabitants. Expect simple sleeping arrangements, rough bedding, and personal belongings scattered around.

Goblin Leaders' Quarters:

More elaborate than the standard barracks, these rooms house the leaders of the goblin tribe.

Broken Tower:

The tower, which was once a strategic vantage point for the goblin inhabitants, now leans precariously to one side, held together by decaying ropes and splintered beams.It contains the lair of an owlbear.

General:

The building was made of stone, and had several towers, many of which had collapsed. It had a well-protected main entrance, with two archer posts looking straight at any who would approach the castle. Castle Cragmaw also had a side entrance to the south that was far less guarded.
