How to view and create any skin on a CS2 server
Af Glisone
The purpose of this guide is to help you visualise any weapon, glove or knife skin on a CS2 server. It also provides access to a customised sticker placement tool.

Step 1. Join a server dedicated to skins
The first step is to join a server on which you can inspect skins. For example, you can join Ohnepixel's Discord[discord.com]server and go to the server-ips section, or CSInspect's Discord[discord.gg]server.

Otherwise, simply copy the links below :

Inferno : connect inferno.epidemic.gg

Office : connect office.epidemic.gg

Mirage : connect mirage.epidemic.gg

Dust II : connect dust2.epidemic.gg

Anubis : connect anubis.epidemic.gg

Italy : connect italy.epidemic.gg

Nuke : connect nuke.epidemic.gg

Vertigo : connect vertigo.epidemic.gg

From there, all you have to do is copy the address of any card and put it in the console.
Step 2. Find the item link
The second step is to look for the skin you want to see.
There are two possibilities : either you know the origin of the skin [1], or you want to view a skin whose origin you don't know [2]. It is also possible to generate one if the skin does not exist [3].

[1]
If you know where the item comes from (Steam inventory, Buff, Skinport, Skinbid [...]), just right-click on "inspect in game" and copy the link address.

[2]
If you're looking for a particular item for which you don't have a link, simply search for it on CSFloat. From the database, you can search for an item using various filters (category, stickers, float [...]).

Once you've found the link item, simply type : !i *link*

[3]
To generate a skin, simply fill in the following fields :
!gen [def index] [paint index] [paint seed] [paint wear] ([sticker id] [sticker wear])
  • [def index] : Weapon number (e.g. 7 for the ak47 and 8 for the aug [...])
  • [paint index] : Finish ID
  • [paint seed] : Pattern index
  • [paint wear] : 0-0.07 FN ; 0.07-0.15 MW ; 0.15-0.35 FT ; 0.35-0.45 WW ; 0.45-1 BS
  • [sticker id] : Sticker ID
  • [sticker wear] : 0 for no scratches on the sticker
You can do this more intuitively and easily with Cs Inspect[www.csinspect.com].

It's also possible to create skins with stickers placed in the position you want.

Hi, I'm interested in your items! Feel free to add me.

Thanks for the feedback ! The pattern ID section refers to the pattern index. For example, for an ak-47 blue gem, you put 661.

Thanks for the guide. I just want to ask what should I put into the pattern id section? The paint index or the pattern seed?
