Description
We're researchers. We're trying to figure out the nature of the Zone...

A update to YourProfileNames pack of the same name, as it was one of the first ports by him it had a lot of legacy stuff attached to it, a lot of textures were formatted incorrectly wasting space, NPCs and playermodels were a bit messy, the former would flicker between rebel and combine anims due to both NPC types using the same model etc.

So i went and tried to update it significantly, i added in additional textures for the CS stalker heads, as it was missing several, i re-imported every single texture and ported/converted normalmaps from either the leaked texture sources or decompiled assets with some clean up instead of the original addons autogenerated normals, and alpha channels for said normals from the game so phong now makes sense, and as a bonus i myself ported Lebedev to the pack, i will port Kalancha/Beanpolev, Cold, and Gray/Novikov at a later date since weightpainting isnt something im good at, this pack also is standalone unlike the original, and i replaced the model arm based hands with the actual Clear Sky one.

i also condensed the lua as the original had the Pms and NPCs in several different lua files per model for efficiency, the NPCs will now go into their respective squads, have proper icons, and added different models with the correct animations for the respective NPC so no more anim set switching, and they spawn with weapons now.

That's what I meant. Since it's an NPC and you will witness it die, imma fix the bones

Its not really a bug, some model creators make the physics constraints loose for posers, but it sucks if its used for a Playermodel or NPC since it looks silly when a model collapses in on itself.

The problem is the fact that Stalkers models simply do not fit the ValveBiped skeleton, the hands especially, the arms are too long and it causes the hands to distort.

It does not help that Xray handles its scaling completely different from Source.

it's kinda crazy how they made the Clear Sky models HD but barely updated the old models, in fact they DOWNGRADED them! removing variations and making the hoods look weird and puffy. should've just remade all the models to match the quality at that point

Sir, I wished you also make the HD Clear Sky and Ecologist guys as PMs and NPCs. Also the Berill suit Bandit, Duty and Merc as a bonus. I wished I can make them myself, but no money for a computer yet
