How To Move Your Base And Palbox

A short guide on how to move your labour camp - I mean base.

How to change the location of your base

First, you simply need to deconstruct the Palbox that you've built via the world map.

At the beginning of the game, you can only have one main Palbox, like your home base. As you explore and fight, you might realize you need to move it. Heck, you might have plonked it in the wrong place while rushing through the tutorial.

Now, If you need a new home base, just open your world map and highlight the spot that has the Palbox. Then, press and hold the "C" key to disassemble it. Doing so will let you construct a Palbox in another area.



Don't stress about leaving creatures behind; they'll chill in the Palbox and be ready to roll when you set up shop in a new area. Easy peasy!

Bit of info for people, You can literately have more then 4... bases, change world settings.
Ima be real, late game don't even bother with weight, turn it off, and have multiple mining outpost bases, trust me you'll need them. Late game Plasteel and Hexolite are just plain annoying to make.

I just leveled to base #2 and I'm rebuilding the new one before dismantling the old. It's worked well enough.

Can use the grappling hook to move when overweight. Not a trip you'd want to make frequently though, probably better to just level up till you can build an additional base.

there are pals that can increase your carry weight, but unfortunately it's a drop in the bucket for now. hopefully we get pals with storage space

@Taste I think he was talking about moving all the resources to the new area, if you have a large base with a lot of resources it will be difficult to move all of them because of the weight.

@Rusty Shackleford, you can disassemble every construction by hand with the build menu without any ressources being lost.

I am assuming everything you built, and items are left behind. Doesn't seem to be a good way at the moment to haul bulk items.
