Description

For most part this mod inspired by ancients lab junk from Alpha Genes. Also playing with bunch of Races Expanded mods I've faced with a problem that there is not enough space for storing every genes, especially if you want to collect it.

Gene Bank (2x1)
Store capacity - 8 gene packs. Updated version of basic one.

Large Gene Bank (2x2)
Store capacity - 20 gene packs.

Huge Gene Bank (4x2)
Store capacity - 48 gene packs.

Since the author has stated they have updated it, I'm guessing that they just forgot to update the About.xml file to reflect version compatability. You can edit it yourself using notepad if that really bothers you, by adding the following line within the <supportedVersions/> tag:
<li>1.6</li>
If you need help finding the path to this particular file you might try the following:
[Whatever drive/folder steam is in]\Steam\steamapps\workshop\294100\3138968978\About\About.xml

@The Wise Old Man I have the same issue. Unsubbed, folder was gone from steamworkshop folder, resubbed. Still no good. The downloaded files also show only support for 1.4 and 1.5. I think Steam is being weird, as author stated they did update to 1.6

I downloaded the mod for the first time but there doesn't seem to be a 1.6 tag, is this just steam being bad or the mod?

Had the same issue as Zombie. Its because the name of the mod was changed in the update. If you open up the Gene Banks Expanded mod folder, go to about, then about.xml. Open in a text editor and remove the "[FM] " from the front and save this restored compatibility for me. Likely they'll need to update the reference in the Gene Reprocessor mod to perma fix but at least this does it for now.

I'm on 1.5 and I am having an issue with the genepack reprocessor no longer connecting to [FM] Genebanks Expanded, when it was prior to today.

Mod has been updated to 1.6. Please, also check the description for ORBITAL TRADERS FIX. I've just test it and everything looks just fine.

This does't work in 1.5 too, has nothing to do with 1.6. ^^
