More ability variation

Better Turn-Based Mode
3 items
Description
Do you hate it when your wizard is just autoattacking instead of wizarding? This mod adds new options how to spend your resources and actions for the most problematic (in my opinion) classes. It is designed and tested primarily for turn-based mode. The mod will work just fine in real-time but this mod is solving problems that exist only in TB.

Right now mod adds:

- Monk - Swift Punch. An instant attack for a lot of wounds. It's mainly designed for turn-based mode and provides an option to do extra attack without spending your action.

- Wizard - Arkemyr's Minor Curse. 0 level spell with a lot of uses, debuffs an enemy with random 1st level affliction for 6 seconds (1 turn).

- Priest - Minor Blessing. 0 level spell with a lot of uses, buffs an ally with random 1st level boon for 8 seconds (1 turn). Can be very powerful with a lot of int and a bit of luck, maybe I will nerf it a bit.

- Every priest's subclass gained 9 new spells (unlockable, not autogranted) for more variations.

What this mod doesn't add and never will be:

- Balance changes, adjustments, etc. This mod only adds new stuff and keeps everything modular.

* * *

Compatibility:

The mod doesn't override any game's files so it should be compatible with any other mod.

* * *

Known bugs:

When choosing new priest's subclass spells during leveling up, icon's border doesn't indicate that the spell is chosen. Possibly Obsidian's bug and nothing can be done, but I'll look into it.

How to install:
The game loads class ability trees when the game starts, so after activating/deactivating the mod in the game settings, you need to restart the game. If you install the mod in the middle of the playthrough, you need to respec your monk/wizard/priest to acquire abilities.

How to uninstall:
Unsubscribe from the mod at the Steam Workshop. Nothing should break, but I recommend to respec your monk/wizard/priest just in case.

Note: mod works with English and Russian verison of the game.
