VR Performance Toolkit for Contractors VR

In this guide I will show you how to install and use vrperfkit to get more fps.

Download the vrperfkit_0.3.zip file

Extract the zip

Extract the zip file and copy the vrperfkit.yml and the dxgi.dll file to SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ContractorsVR\Contract

Open the vrperfkit.yml and edit the settings

First you have to choose between fsr nis and cas, for upscaling you can choose fsr or nis (fsr is recommended for slightly better quality), or you can use cas if you don't need more fps, just a sharper image.

The "renderScale" setting controls the rendering resolution of the game. You have to use a value between 0 and 1. A lower value means lower resolution and more fps. If you use 2000x2000 with 0.5 renderScale, the rendering resolution will be 1000x1000.

The "sharpness" setting controls the amount of sharpness the mod adds to the image. Generally, if you use a lower rendering scale, you need a higher sharpness for good clarity.

Test

You can start the game now and test the new settings.
