Star Wars - Swoop Speeder Bike Props

This addon contains models for the Mobquet Flare-S Swoop Bike, a speeder/swoop bike hybrid that has been seen in various pieces of Star Wars media over the years. This vehicle has been seen in two of the Star Wars films: Episode IV - A New Hope (Special Edition), and Episode I - The Phantom Menace. However, the most notable and iconic appearance of this vehicle was when it was introduced in the video game adaptation of Star Wars: Shadows Of The Empire. It is currently unknown if the models for these swoop bikes were ripped directly from SOTE or from another Star Wars game, or if they were made from scratch. But what is known is that these swoop bike models were available for Garry's Mod for a time through garrysmods.org before it was shut down and redirects people to the GMod Workshop earlier this year.



Some of the information about this vehicle comes from this Wookieepedia article [starwars.fandom.com]. But in Star Wars, the Flare-S Swoop was manufactured by Mobquet Swoops and Speeders, and was based on the concept of a hybrid between swoop bikes (like the Zephyr-G Swoop Bike) and speeder bikes (like the 74-Z Military Speeder Bike). The Flare-S Swoop is capable of attaining up to speeds of 650 kilometers an hour, and was known to be heavier than other swoop bikes due to its S-shaped chassis, despite measuring only 3 meters in length. Due to some of its design features for riders, the Flare-S swoop allowed for additional speed and increased maneuverability when handling the craft. Flare-S Swoop Bikes became a common racing vehicle in racing circuits for racing pilots after podracing was outlawed by the Galactic Empire prior to the Galactic Civil War, and they were also fairly common amongst swoop gangs, mercenaries, and bounty hunters like Dash Rendar, Jaden Korr, Sunny Bounder, and the swoop gang, the Black Seraphs. It's unknown if these types of swoop bikes remained popular amongst racers and pilots after the end of the Galactic Civil War.

This addon contains four swoop bike models:
-Red Swoop Bike
-Black Swoop Bike
-Gold Swoop Bike
-Silver Swoop Bike

The swoop bikes in this mod are NOT vehicles. They are just props. If anyone wants to turn them into drivable vehicles for GMod, then be my guest.
