A little light switch trolling

In this guide I will show you some ways to do a little trolling involving the light switch

How to move the light switch

When facing the exit door, the light switch can be found on the right-side wall.


Move towards it. Look towards it.

Press B (this is the default binding.)
Now you're holding the light switch.
Hold R to rotate the light switch and press B again to place it wherever the green outline is hovering. If it's red it can not be placed.

In the beningin

Start your trolling by placing the light switch is more easily findable spots.
Examples: Corners, ceiling and inside the other furniture (Make sure to turn of the lights before placing them in other furniture!)

Medium or rare?

Then after they've found all those; try these somewhat harder to find spots.
These will be visible only when hovering over them and seeing the light prompt.

Dark/bad visibility. Might be actually more likely to be found because of it.

If done properly this spot will not show a light switch prompt. :-)

My magnum opus

When lil troling become big trole (only reason I made this stupid guide)

Get to this corner and have the file cabinet and light switch within reach:

Crouch underneath the vent pipe.
Pick up the cabinet, rotate until the cabinet side is facing towards your right.
Face away from the corner.
Look as far down as you can.
Place said cabinet, this should push you slightly into the wall.
Without touching the movement keys, look around.
If you aren't this deep, repeat placing the cabinet.
Grab the light switch and place it in this corner:

Flip the switch:

You can also place it in the gap between the frame of the ship and door, in the top right corner. This is literally impossible to get to (consistently) without the use of the terminal as a step.

you can also just put it behind the red cabinet after moving it slightly outward and the host will leave before he can find it
