Description
Two Genesee Beer Trucks. This workshop listing is for the vehicles. I have a separate listing for the Prop Trucks.

Made for the Rochester, NY 1:1 Series by Youtuber Gaseous Stranger.

Included are a red truck for Genesee Beer and a green truck for Genesee Cream Ale specialty varietal.


The trucks were made by reskinning trucks using the Heavy Truck Template by JaiJai

@Chris6d - I've never done a vehicle before. And it would not have been feasible for this project without having an existing template available to reskin. The JaiJai Heavy Truck Model was available as a tutorial that shared the model and the Gimp XCF layers files for customizing the textures.

For me create a North American semi-truck from scratch as a vehicle novice probably would have been a lot of headaches and >30+ hours. Using the template kept it down to < 5 hours. Better allocation of my time. Having the overall color scheme consistent with the product branding and the right logo/artwork on the trailer gets you > 80% of the right look...

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to use an American semi-style truck rather than a European lorry-style truck, since this is a truck for an American company? Either way, it looks great, great job :steamhappy::steamthumbsup:
