Somehow I have skipped probably the entirety of ch.3
I died at the room where Dollies appear for the first time, chose one of the exits at the respawn room and ended up one stroll away from ch.3 boss
The way chapters 1 and 2 are balanced is pretty cool but I think adding Medusa was too much
I might have missed presents, but I also didn't find a pocket mirror or obsidian skull to craft an ankh shield. This is especially annoying when the two biggest threats at the start of the third area are medusae and burning blocks.
The final cheat code input is also bugged since you get teleported to the wrong spot. If you can't wiggle to the down input's teleporter, you just get stuck.
The checkpoint system is pretty flawed. First, only the second area has a checkpoint at the start. If you die in the first or third areas before reaching a checkpoint, you skip all the way to the end when you respawn. Second, there's no way to select which checkpoint you warp to (at least, from what I can tell) and the default checkpoint for the second area, the one with a lot of one-way transitions, is the final checkpoint, while the default checkpoint for the first area is the start. This means that when you inevitably go to backtrack for presents, you have to run through the first area and whatever portion of the second area each time you die or miss a present. Third, the area change buttons for the respawn area are a tile too far in either direction. As-is you need to be really precise to stand on the teleporter and press the buttons.
