Description
A mod for Anbennar simply adding navigable rivers, and many canals across the world to increase ship travel time.


### 1.4 - Should be Stable with new Version of Anbennar ###



### Update 1.3 - Up to Escann ###



Province + River map merged with Anbennar's

Merged Ynn River Reservoirs

Newly added Escann, Dostan's Folly and the one in the Frost Forest provinces now have their tribal populations killable! (With added GFX)

Many Rivers now have a 'permanent' crossing. These crossings cannot be blockaded by ships. However, not all crossings will be permanent. As such, to fully control a river, ships or directly owning the provinces on both sides are still needed.

Fixed Imperial Cities AGAIN! Imperial cities now have a limit of two provinces. This fixes the old temporary solution as it unfairly gave land to already bigger powers.

Hopefully, less prone to crashes.

Fixed new provinces not being in the "Colonial and Trade Regions" mapmode.

Added Northern Seas Canal, liking Cannor and Haless together.

Added Wesaine river.

Added Luna river.

Added Hapaine river.

Added Esmar river.

Rivers for most nations shouldn't have terra incognita anymore.



### Release 1.0 - Rivers Galore ###


Adds the Alen river, going from Vertesk to the Serpentine, including two tributaries.

Adds the Middanroy and Widderoy in Small Country and Lorent.

Adds the Dostanesck from its gulf to its base in the Serpentine.

Adds the Mother's Sorrow.

Adds the Suran and Buranun rivers in Bulwar.

Adds the two Amadian rivers.

Adds the Agotham river.

Adds multiple Leechden rivers including a new canal to connect the Amadian lake to a river for easy access between the two sides of the continent.



Please comment any instant crashes when moving troops near rivers. (Only players can cause these crashes so it may seem fine when sieged by ai)/ Any troops going off into space.

I´ve got an instant crash after successfully sieging Lakrazbul (4637) near Sir and the Upper Yanhe.

Hi, @Knight (and all)! Just wanted to mention that this mod still mostly works, but is now pretty out-of-date with the latest update, which includes a bunch of new province groups for missions (e.g., the stalbor_across_cannor_provinces, the crimson_deluge_provinces, etc.), which is what causes this mod to break a bunch of mission trees.

Any chance of an update?

Hey, Franz - I found an issue like that. The Castanor mission tree wants to give you claims on the deepwoods_outer_gladeways provinces. This mod has them as deepwoods_outer_gladeway (no S).

That breaks the mission chain, and so it replaces them all with generic missions

@Knight the Anbennar map has had some serious updates, so I think this one needs an update, as well. Thanks!

the added provinces mess the continuity of the golden highway. Perhaps the highway could be extended to include the new provinces

This seems to break the Culture Menus, specifically the humans and centaurs seem to have been merged into one. Playing on the bit bucket

yeah every country in Escann has very limited vision. I'm in Serpentspine this game so it doesn't directly affect me but it's shaping out pretty weird.
This needs to be integrated into the basemod

Found a crash when I attempt to explore the Kharunyana river. It doesn't show up in the exploration options and when the crash happens if you hover over the river with any fleet with an explorer. I already tested it with just Anbennar and this mod and the crash always happens so it's likely not a mod conflict unless I have the load order wrong.
