High Hood B40-8

(whatever you do, do not go into cabview)

This unlocks in 1988 and it comes with random numbers and a Nathan P5 horn. I made this by combining two meshes together to make one locomotive. it's comprised of Zukzf's GP38 and Meatball's B40-8. Credit to the guy at RailsimStuff for the fonts.

The Norfolk and Western, as well as the Southern Railway, were the final two railroads to use locomotives featuring high-short hoods. Both companies prioritized crew safety by opting for a configuration with the long hood forward and the high-short hood, deeming it more crucial than enhanced visibility. Despite the Southern's continued desire to procure high hood locomotives, GE refused, informing them that they no longer offered such models. Consequently, the Southern bought the locomotives with standard cabs and proceeded to rebuild them in-house.

However, as the radiators of these locomotives became larger, they obstructed more of the view when running them long hood forward.
