Le carrozze bagagliaio tipo 1964 entrarono in servizio a partire dal 67' e si basavano, strutturalmente, sulle carrozze tipo 1959. Vennero realizzati bagagliai per uso internazionale, uso interno ed una piccola quantità di bagagliai postali.
Intorno agli anni 80 queste vetture vennero modificate: alle versioni allestite come bagagliaio venne risanata la cassa, eliminando i coprigiunti; le versioni allestite come bagagliaio-posta vennero modificate per l'uso in composizione con treni reversibili e ricevettero l'appariscente livrea MDVC.
Il servizio di queste vetture è terminato alla fine degli anni 90. Alcune carrozze hanno ricevuto la livrea XMPR.

Le carrozze bagagliaio tipo 1978R vennero ottenute dalla trasformazione di vetture tipo 1921 serie 30000.. Queste carrozze erano provviste di cavo a 78 poli per permetterne l'utilizzo in composizione a treni reversibili. Hanno effettuato servizio fino a fine anni 90.

The 1964 type baggage cars started their operational service from 1967 and were based, structurally, on the 1959 type coaches. Baggage cars were created for international use, internal use and for postal services.
During the 80s these cars were modified: the frame of all the versions was renovated by eliminating the joint covers; the versions set up as postal wagons were modified for use in combination with reversible trains and received MDVC livery.
The service of these cars ended in the late 1990s. Some cars received the XMPR livery.

The 1978R type baggage cars were obtained from the transformation of 1921 type 30000 series cars. These cars were equipped with a 78-poles cable to allow their use in reversible train compositions. They were in service until the end of the 90s.
