Getting Beehive Solo
You can get beehives solo but its a bit harder than other methods with a teleporter or other players. You just need to bait the bees sprit though them and grab the hive. To make this easier for longer trips you can drop the beehive when your stamina is getting low to avoid damage and repeat the process until you get the beehive to the ship. I drew a crude diagram of how to do it below

Getting Beehive Duo
Getting a beehive with two people is much easier than one. To do so person 1 baits the bees and runs of while person 2 grabs the beehive and runs to the ship then person 1 runs back and goes inside the ship while the Person 2 closes the door.
A crude drawing of how to do this is below
Benefits Teleport Method Over Others
Many of you may have seen the other guide the art of stealing beehives and though that works well if you are good at the game and are only grabbing one beehive this method works much better for people who don't want to risk taking damage or are low on health. This also allows for getting two beehives such as on Vow as well as for new players who aren't comfortable with pulling of the precise maneuvers required to do the other method. Finally this method works if you are planning on leaving later and don't want to have bees constantly swarming your ship.
Getting Beehive (2 people + teleporter)
Step One
To do this your probably going to want to do this toward the end of the day when your leaving and this is very hard to do with a far away beehive. First find a bee hive and designate roles
You need:
- A person to distract the bees without any items
- A person to grab the beehive and teleport the other person
Step Two
Now you will need to have the distractor run by the bees and get their attention while going away from the ship while the other person grabs the beehive and books it to the ship. When the person gets back to the ship they teleport the distractor back to the ship. This rarely works with far away beehives and the 3 person method is highly recommended over this one
Getting Beehive (3 people + teleporter)
Step One
To do this your probably going to want to do this toward the end of the day when your leaving. First find a bee hive and designate roles
You need:
- A person to distract the bees without any items
- A person to grab the beehive
- A person at the ship with the monitor set to the person distracting the bees
Step Two
Now you will need to have the distractor run by the bees and get their attention while going away from the ship during this time the second person runs in and gets the beehive when the distractor gets close to the edge of the map the person at the ship teleports them back then repeat the process for other beehives
Getting beehive early
To get a beehive early in the day you can simply do one of the other methods and put it on the end of the ship. then as your leaving you go out a grab the beehives and bring them inside, usually one person can bring 2 beehives in if skilled but you'll rarely ever get over 3.
TZP enhalent
TZP can be very expensive but worth it on sale, If your solo or duo and need extra stamina to get a far away beehive I would recommend buying TZP in bulk when its 50-90 percent off unless your rich. If you do acquire TZP I recommend 2-6 seconds because it gets you a good boost in stamina while not clouding your vision or using all of your inhalant.
Tips
- Be aware of the delay in teleportation
- Be aware of the fact you can outrun bees with sprinting
- If your the distractor make sure to get the bees attention and that they are following you
- If your the distractor also make sure to have no items and full stamina
- If your grabbing the bee hive make sure that the bees are far enough away not to bother you
- You can also set up a way to get teleported that the teleporter operator can see on the monitor for example frantically looking left and right, spinning, running in a circle

though this does require a coordinated team you can just lead the bees super far away on a full stamina without having to worry about running back which should give you time to get other hives. Also this is inteded for the end of the day cause even with forest giants the divertion person will be safe cause of the teleporting person

Good strategies - will have to try this if I can manage to get a coordinated team. One slight problem I see with this though: won't this mean you'll have to deal with an angry swarm (after they lose their hive) of bees roaming the outside map for the rest of the day? Sure, they can just be outright avoided like most of the outdoor hazards - but their movement patterns are somewhat sporadic and fast. Honestly, I'd rather just deal with getting the hive on the catwalks of the ship (away from the entry door) the solo way and grab them later - that way the threat can be kept it one spot + more people can work on getting items from the interior building.
