Liberated Nations

解説
Enables more combinations of nations for Conquest and Skirmish.

Play as Soviets vs USA, Germany vs Finland, or even USA vs USA.

Do you want to have the same options for Valour conquest?
Play as Japan against Poland, or Finland versus Italy?
The latest version of this mod includes a patched version for Valour!

Installation guide for Valour version:

1. Subscribe to this mod.
2. Find the Steam's Workshop folder. The default installation path is following:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content

3. Find the Liberated Nations folder inside the workshop folder. The default path is following:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\3100003638

4. If done correctly, you should be able to see a folder called "_valour_version". Open it.
5. Copy the "liberatedvalour" folder to the Gates of Hell mod folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call to Arms - Gates of Hell\mods

6. You can now activate the Valour version through the Extras menu inside the game, just as any other mod.

Do you want to use your own conquest map list, using handpicked maps?
No worries - its easier than you think! You will have to edit a single file in a Notepad.

map_points.set

By default, it can be found in the following folder:

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\3100003638\resource\set\dynamic_campaign

Edit one of the lists corresponding to the "map buttons" in the game, as you wish. For example, the very first "list" in the file is the base game set of maps - "Ostfront":

{Regions {Ostfront {Maps

There are about 30 maps / lines, looking like this:

{"multi/dcg_a_kalinin:campaign_capture_the_flag"}

Look through the top 3 lists - {Ostfront, {Talvisota and {West, and pick whatever maps you wish. All you need to do, is copy and paste the lines within the corresponding set of maps.
For example, if you wish to play on one and only map when choosing Ostfront in the conquest start menu, you have to edit the file like this:

{Regions {Ostfront {Maps {"multi/dcg_stalingrad_outskirts:campaign_capture_the_flag"} } } .... .... ....

can nations finally fight vs all nations?
IE before we can do in valor Germany vs US UK French etc all in one conquest, now we can only pick one

does this mod fix this please tell

Updated. The latest version includes an "all maps" option ( last button when starting a new conquest )

i will post a guide in the main mod description on how to edit map lists.
there are too many buttons as is - it might be glitching already, for someone who is using a low resolution.
its not hard - only one file needs to be edited.

MACE should be working fine. I havent played much, but it starts and all seems to be as it should. Havent found any confilctiong files either.

I will look into making an all-map mix. Maybe already today.

Great mod! I've got two questions though:

1. Could you add an Region where all maps are combined (i.e. Ostfront + Talvisota + Liberation)?

2. Is the mod compatible mith MACE (it only adds new units and no new factions)?

ah, i forgot i have already included it in the steam version
make sure its loaded in the correct order:

{mods
"mod_2537987794:0"
"liberatedvalour:0"
}
Yu can find it in the options.set file located in:
C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\digitalmindsoft\gates of hell\profiles\XXXXXXXX (8-digit Steam ID number )

I ran a test and it works fine on latest version of Valour.
