Joel, this mod is made only using the tools provided by the developer. I have no control over anything you have an issue with. I suggest you complain with them instead.

it was my attention to encourage mod authors to reduce the amount that their mod adds to the save file if they know how to do this. the issue is NOT save on my hard drive, it is the fact that save grow to the point it eventually becomes impossible to save any more

Joel west is either lying, or full of shit. He's posted that exact same thing, word for word, on multiple mods.

I noticed today that after the golem game update my game save file is 4x bigger than it would be with 76 added mods compared to the 24 basic mods I 'must have' to play the game

your mod did not add all of that but to a two player small map save file it adds 380 kb. that may not sound like much but prior to the golem update this is over1.5x the 220 kb of the entire save file for a two player small map game

please post if you can figure out how to fix this. until then I am forced to turn off this mod (along with other save file space hogs)

@Deimos Anomaly I don't think so, I made this mod mostly because I identify my heroes by their hair colors and helmet during combat and the old mod is not working anymore. I also don't like to put helmets on my mage heroes. While this mod is purely visual the need for it was somewhat functional.

Time to swap the old mod that wasn't updated with the new golem changes to yours!
