If that doesn't work, there's one more test we can perform just to see if the mod has a problem:
- When you see a tile displaying incorrectly: right-click on it, select Custom, copy the url in the Face textbox, and paste this url into your internet browser and press Enter (this should show you the image the mod is using to display this piece). If the image appears correct in your browser, then that means the issue is on your end, and I unfortunately can't do anything to fix it.
Hopefully the first step will solve your issue, let me know what the results are.
Would you mind performing the following step and see if it fixes the issue:
- On the top row of buttons, click Menu, then Configuration, and on the "Game" tab make sure the box labelled "Mod Caching" is turned off. Then open the Everdell mod (this will make the Everdell mod re-download all its images from the internet, instead of just using the images it saves on your computer). Check to see if the problem still persists. Afterwards, make sure to turn Mod Caching back on (otherwise it will take a long time whenever you open a mod table).

We keep trying to select our colours before but it always reverts us to 1st player white and second player brown.
The way the numpad1 button works in this mod is that it detects the color of the player who pressed the button and then looks at their player board. When in Hotseat mode, TTS treats all button presses as belonging to player 1 (since in Hotseat mode everyone is using the same keyboard, presumably), so the camera only ever looks at player 1's board.
I wish in the future someone could translate this beautiful game into more languages :( being a spanish speaker I have to rely a lot on web translators.
The tip of placing them on the meadow/discard pile before every play worked but was a bit tedious so for anyone who runs into this issue as well: cut and paste with Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V is a quick and easy alternative way of playing the cards without having to move to the meadow or the discard pile every time.
