With Kruelboyz I like to push forward to get healing base near a victory point to have a second base ahead, then just sent all my newly built units to this far ahead base.
Also a tactic vs Nighthaunt that should likely be mentioned is to be super careful with the positioning of your heroes. Even super tanky bois like the Killaboss and even the Lord Of Change (if he's trapped in melee and cannot use nuke) can absolutely melt to the mass ranged blobs of nighthaunt, and they get this hero damage upgrade plus increased range at T1 for very little res. Worst mistake I have seen against Nighthaunt is Stormcast Knight Vexillor using Banner Of The Reforged and being deleted 1-2 seconds into the animation, both from the cost of losing the hero and the ability.
