Full Sea Critter Guide: All Critters & Some Catching Tips
Vytvořil: Raptvre
This is a guide for all sea critters in the game and where and when you can catch them. I've included base prices, locations, and depth, along with some assorted catching tips. I made this because I wanted a steam guide to keep open on my second monitor while I played, but there wasn't one yet.

Intro
This guide includes sea critters names with pictures, where and when they can be caught, and the time of day and season it needs to be as well. Here are the specific time slots:
Day (06:00-18:00)
Night (18:00-00:50)

I also wanted to include a few catching tips as well.
  • You can hold m1 to sneak closer to a critter, filling its alert indicator much slower.
  • You can leave float and crawler traps around your anchor to catch some sea critters with no effort, as well as it being a semi-afk money-maker. You can also leave traps by the 4 Cave teleport spots, as they're quick to get to, and don't require you to move your anchor.
Catching Locations
I don't have as much information about the areas of the ocean, as some of them are still unnamed at this point. I may add my own shaded map some time in the near future. For now I recommend this guide for navigating the ocean floor:

Sea Critters (1)
The sea critters are in the same order as they appear in your Journal to make it easy to find a specific one you're missing. It's a long list, so use CTRL+F to find the fish you're looking for faster. In the prices section, the first is base price with no quality stars.

@Raptvre I just caught it! It was moving along the ground and not floating so critter trap it apparently is!

@thatlinkontheinternet Wiki says crawler trap, but I'm also in winter so I'll do some testing.

Quick question. Would the Chambered Nautilus be caught with a float trap or a critter trap?
