Intro
Welcome to the guide "100% Achievements for The Wolf's Den"

I was surprised to see this game had no guides, it's extremely fun and short to 100%.
So, I made this for anyone who needs a bit of help with the achievements.
This also functions as a walkthrough, enjoy!
What Happened?
Get hit by the train on your first time through the train tunnel

You can get this by beating the 1st level.
If you're confused on what to do, just simply move forward until you can't anymore.
Once you get hit by the train, the achievement should pop.
Too Fast For the Wolf
Outrun the werewolf on your second tunnel excursion

On the 2nd level, you'll encounter the titular werewolf. This is a required chase sequence.
Drink the Blue Elixir that you got earlier so you can easily outrun him.
Afterwards, the achievement should unlock shortly.
A Paltry Meal
Get eaten by a pack of werewolves

You get this by beating the 3rd level.
If you're confused, simply walk forward again until you come across the caved-in tunnel.
Read the note placed on the desk next to the rocks, then let the wolves eat you.
After you die, the achievement should unlock.
Don't Drink the Punch
Chanced a sip of the suspicious elixir

In the 4th level, interact with the table near the beginning.

A secret passage will open containing many shelves. There is a key somewhere on the table.

1. Find and pick up the key.
2. Use it on the chest towards the back (the same chest in the achievement icon)
3. Drink one of the Red Elixir's found inside.

This will make you beat the 4th level, while also getting you the achievement.
Escaped
Escaped The Wolf's Den

You can get this by beating the 5th and final level.
Here's a step-by-step walkthrough on how to beat this level:

1. Go into the secret room you've found last level.
2. Grab the lubricant on the table and leave the room.
3. Move forward until you find the infamous broken lever, use the lubricant on it.
4. Keep moving forward through the gruelingly long hallway.
5. Once you hit a crossroads, go left, this will start a werewolf chase similar to level 2.
6. Immediately push the level to your left once you're outside to trap Ceaser.
7. Walk further outside towards freedom.
Juiced Up
Hold three speed potions in your inventory at once

This can be achieved on the 5th Level, where it's relatively easy to obtain three Elixirs.
The 1st one is located in the chest inside the secret room, simply find the key on the floor again.
The 2nd and 3rd ones can easily be found as you move through the long tunnel.

It should unlock immediately when you pick up your 3rd Blue Elixir.

Don't know anything about the 5th Level? Refer to the Escaped section of this guide.
Prolific Reader
Read all the journal pages scattered throughout the mountain

Interact with every page you see throughout all the levels.
You don't have to scroll down completely, just click on them.
There's some, such as one during the werewolf chase in level 2, that can be missed easily.
If you don't get the achievement, backtrack in game or by using the level select.
A Werewolf and an Alchemist Walk Into a Bar
Find the hidden full inventory voice line

Marcus can only carry three items at once.
When you have a full inventory (which you can achieve in level 5), try to pick up a fourth item.
Keep clicking until you get a specific voice line, the longest in the game.
The achievement should pop as the voice line starts.
The Hunt of the Great Octopus
Find Mr. Octopus on all five levels

There is one "Mr. Octopus" on each level. They only appear if you beat the game once. To officially find him, you must click him.
Watch as he descends into the ground (don't worry, it doesn't hurt a bit!)

Tips:
- Always look back, he could be hiding just out of reach.
- Inspect dark areas, he likes the dark.
- Go where you think he couldn't be.

(in game mr. octopus himself, pictured above)
What a Bother
Touch Mr. Octopus one too many times

This concerns the Mr. Octopus in the 5th level.
At the crossroads where you'd usually get chased by Ceaser, go right instead.
Once you find him, let him find you. (you'll know what I mean)

When he does, keep clicking him until you get the achievement.
You've lost his respect, but hey, You've also gained an achievement!

I don't nearly browse the community group as much as I should so I didn't see this until now. Just want to say I love that you put together, I read the whole thing, it's great! Thanks for playing!

No Problem, thanks for the changes.
The stuff I mentioned were points which could be improved in my opinion. Obviously you implement what you think is correct and/or needed.

One last thing though as you seemed to have missunderstood me:
I did not say you need the first 4 Octopus to find the last one (even though I have not tested it).
What I did say is that it MIGHT be needed to have collected the first 4 to be able to get the "What a Bother" achievement in level 5 which has obviously a bigger requirement than just finding the 5th Octopus. But I also have not tested that, that is just an educated guess by me. You might want to reflect that.

My guide is up at this point for anyone interested.

Thanks again.

also added the part about the key on Level 4. Thanks again!

Thanks! I'll add the part about the Octopus collectibles appearing once the game is beaten and needing the first four to get the fifth. As for your other notes, I don't feel like my guide should remove the fun of finding the Octopi collectibles by giving it away, so I didn't give specific locations. All power to you if you make a guide otherwise though. And your notes for "Don't Drink the Punch" and "Juiced Up" aren't really relevant to mention since following what the guide says initially already implies both of those.

-The Octopus collectibles appear ONLY after having beat the game once
-"What a Bother": the description here could be more clear: It might be needed that you have found all 4 previous Octopus collectibles. Then in level 5 collect the last one, then try to take the regular way, a big Octopus will appear and catch you, teleporting you in the developer room. Here is another Octopus, click it till you get the achievement. However don't do the same mistake I did, namely going through the portal before doing so. Because if you do, you can't get back into that room, unless you restart the whole level having you to walk down that painfully long track again.

Thanks for the guide. However in my opinion an achievement guide should contain the locations for the collectibles needed for an achievement. I'll do a quick guide for those.

Also some notes I have:
-"Don't Drink the Punch": is the regular story progression (beating level 4)
-The key in level 4 is actually on the table, in level 5 it's on the floor
-"Juiced Up": You can ONLY get this in chapter 5 and only when you don't drink a single potion until you have collected all 3.
