3421 - Two DM - Quadruple Season

Based on the free flowing and exciting work Alonso is doing at Leverkusen this season.

A back three encompassing two WCB and a CB. In front of these three are two WBs and 2 DM. The WBs are the ones who will provide a constant threat from out wide so will require good stamina and work rate.

The two DMs are in a Volante and Regista positions. These will help provide stability at the back along with dominating the centre of the pitch.


2 Attacking midfielders (one in AM and one in AP) will create chances and provide a goal threat. AM can be changed to Shadow Striker to provide more of a goal scoring threat but might leave you more vulnerable on the counter.

A lone striker in the AF position will be the teams main attacking threat. With the settings put on the WBs it is important that your striker is good in the air and has good composure.

Tactic tested with Bayern Munich in third season after tinkering with a number of styles and plays. Due to the oppostion AI being a lot more advanced this and adapting to using the same tactics frequently. Overall solid at the back and creates a number of chances, scoring lots of goals. About to start new job at Man Utd 2027 season so will see how this tactic fairs.
