[1.5] American Flavor Overhaul

Description
The American Flavor Overhaul mod adds new flavor to the United States to make American campaigns more immersive, interesting, and fun.

This mod works with the Victoria Tweaks Mod.

HOTFIX 2.2:
1. Fixed a scripting error that did not grant homelands to Manifest Destiny and Oregon Treaty territories.

UPDATE 2 CHANGES/ADDITIONS:

1. Bug fixes to all journal entries (Slavery Debate, American Civil War, Transcontinental Railway, etc).

2. Slavery Debate JE radicals requirement has been lowered from 50% to 25%; this should make the Civil War fire naturally around the 1860s for both player and AI, assuming no special measures have been taken to radicalize/make loyalists out of the Dixie population.

3. Removed Mexican claims on American territories and American claims on New Mexico/Arizona after the Mexican Cession. This prevents Mexico from attempting to crusade America for New Mexico/Arizona/Texas. Additionally, removed the gold reserves requirement to take the Gadsden Purchase JE decision, as the USA is generally in debt throughout the 1850s. Finally, when an AI is playing the United States, the Gadsden Purchase will be automatically applied once AI America finishes the Mexican Cession JE. This is because the Gadsden Purchase is only available through the Transcontinental JE, which only appears when the USA is controlled by a player.

4. The Confederate States now gains an offense/defense increase modifier to give them a fighting chance against the Union. Additionally, both the CSA and USA receive an industrial warfare negative modifier to reflect the brutal, trench warfare-like combat of the Civil War, and draw the war out as it was in real life.

5. The Southern Planters will have their political power severely decimated after the secession crisis via modifier to America

6. The CSA now auto-enacts new laws that reflect the Southern Planters and keep them in power once the South secedes.

7. New event - the Nashville Convention. This event can fire in any incorporated southern slave state and grants radicals to all Dixie pops in the south. This severely raises tensions between the North and South and pushes the nation further toward civil war.

8. Various localization/event/je/decision fixes/tweaks for immersion purposes.

Feel free to comment and rate. I would appreciate any feedback/suggestions. Thank you

If I remember just incase you didn't know. When the civil war spawns the CSA keep their insane military buffs even if they win. So if CSA wins the they just have an unstoppable military.

I plan on updating the mod solely for compatibility with Update 1.6 (and potentially victoria tweaks mod) but I do not plan on adding any more content for the foreseeable future because I just don't really care much for modding Vic 3 anymore! I enjoyed it while I did but I enjoy actually playing the game, lol.

Hi, great mod to be honest. I have a suggestion.
Some events like Gadsden Purchase" or "Kansas-Nebraska Act" should have a description show the condition to get it active. I hope you can make it so it would be easier for people like me to use.
Thank you so much!

There is no path for the army to move towards the great plains because US is missing a few tiles in kansas which means they cannot reach arapaho
