How to "Trimp" for Demoknight dummies!

This guide will teach you how to Trimp in TF2 as Demoknight.

Trimping.. The Basics.

Before starting at all, lets get one thing out of the way, as a beginner I want you to equip the "TIDE TURNER" this will allow you to have the highest success rate with trimping if you're just starting out.

I would also like you to play on a map that has particularly a lot of ramps, a good starting place may be upward or the bridge in 2fort with the roof of the bridge acting as our ramp.

If you have all these things lets get you set up on the order of operations that goes into making you a ground enemy into a ballistic missile.

Trimping.. The JTSS method

Now you may ask what is the "JTSS" method? it stands for "Jump, Turn, Swing, Strafe" and it covers the big 4 things about trimping, so lets start off with out most important

J... JUMP!!: When you start a trimp you want to first jump, this can best just be done by you running a bit forward sometimes a little to the side and THEN jumping! It's very simple yet if you skip this step, you're not gonna be flying high buddy.

T... TURN!!: While using the Tide Turner you have 100% control of your camera, so lets utilize this to break the source engine a bit, when you are jumping at a ramp turn your camera, this may lead to a bit of experimentation as some ramps you don't wanna turn off of, you just wanna go forward, in that case you can skip this step.

S... SWING!!: Swing your sword once you are in the air!! It will make sure you don't have any unnecessary boost in the wrong direction, aka making it harder to land where you want to!

S... STRAFE: When you are in the air, refrain from pressing W, think of it like rocket jumping, once you are in the air you just wanna use your camera to turn left and right and hold A or D in the direction you turn for HUGE air control, this can even allow you to pull off some absurd stunts later on with other classes.

Trimping.. Tips.

So if you figured out how to master this Trimping style, You can also trimp at your enemies and attack below, Almost like a Market Garden soldier. You can also go behind the enemy team if your on an open map and flank them!

There are also some bugs that don't involve trimping but I think I should mention, If you melee then instantly after charge you can extend your range by almost double what the eyelander has.
