where are the saves located?

Old saves

[user] - this is your username on the computer

C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Backrooms_Escape\Saved\SaveGames
and
\steamapps\common\Backrooms_Escape_Together\Backrooms_Escape\Saved\SaveGames

NEW SAVES:

C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\BET\Saved\SaveGames

How to find the AppData folder

To open the "AppData" folder, press Win+R on the keyboard and enter "%AppData%" (without quotes) in the window that opens and press enter.

How do I get my saves back?

1. You need to create a new save in game.
   
2. Close game.
   
3. Open folders with saves.
   
4. Rename the old as new.
   
5. Move the old save and the SaveSlotMemory.sav file from the folder with old saves to the folder with new saves with file replacement.
   
6. Run game.
